How to Get There
This place is a joke like the idiots who work at the front desk. For an airport hotel, you would think everything works right. I was really looking forward to staying at this hotel based on the descriptions. I was greeted by Regina and welcomed as a diamond member. Upto the room and everything looked like it was updated at all as the description said, but the one thing that got me the worst was the lack of two working phones. The room looked like it was a room updated in 2000's (betw 2000-2010) and looked very tired and very old. I went down and told Regina about the non-working phone and she said she will get on top of it (yeah right not in this lifetime) and went back up waiting to hear back. I went down to the bar and got a salad which was good since the bar was opened late. I went back to the front desk to check on the status of the phone getting worked on and of course Regina provided lip service only to me and no request was ever put in so I had to make another request and the girls-Vikki and cleo remember putting in the wake up knock. The engineer finally came to the room and told me the non working phone could not repaired so he said someone from security will come and wake me up. What a joke this place really is. Around 4 am I woke up thanks to Siri of course and got ready by 4:30 and went down the stairs. Security came by and knocked at 4:45 and the knock was so light a mouse would still be asleep. I told them about what happened and of course three girls said they told security to come wake me up - sticking together and one of them (I forgot one of their names) told me she will add 1000 points for the inconvenience- a blatant lie which never showed up. I just took a uber instead of waiting for the turtle shuttle bus...definitely not that of a Hilton hotel at all.....very unprofessional!
Nothing special about this hotel, as standard rooms. It is an average to a little above average airport hotel. On a good note, it wasn't very noisy despite closeness to the airport. Nice to see planes take off on the runways. Shuttle is every 20 minutes, but it was off time a little bit.
I probably wouldn't bring the kids here, but it is VERY suitable for a business trip and for short layovers in the City of Atlanta. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable. The lighting is very dim in the room though. Staff is helpful and friendly.
