Worst experience ever

I called the hotel to confirm my reservation. When we arrived they had given our double bed suite away.. They only had a King suite & ag double bed regular room... We went up to look at the rooms & we chose the King suite... By the time we got back to the lobby they had sold the King suite.. They are very unprofessional.. It was around 1am & we were exhausted.. The rooms are nice tho and the breakfast buffet was a plus.

Tourney travelers beware! Overpriced for the amenities offered

I will preface my review by saying that the room and the food were fine during our stay and I could see this as a nice hotel for business travel in the area. However, having travelled quite a bit on business myself, this hotel strikes me as an older property that probably started out as a Marriott or other property.

We were here for a PG baseball tourney and this particular hotel is ill prepared to deal with the traffic and needs of dozens of baseball players. For instance, many of their machines are out of order - ice machines, washing machines. In fact, their laundry facility, at the time of this review, has one working washer and one working dryer!

Although I’m a fan of property security, it’s a huge inconvenience to have to have your room key to activate the elevator every time you use it. The stairs are for emergency exit only which doesn’t allow you to go between floors.

The hotel is average and should be avoided for tournament stays!

Well worth the price over the junk nearby

Sonesta may be pricier then it’s nearby competition, but you will get exceptionally clean rooms, professional service, and an all around pleasant stay. Nearby hotels are cheaper for a reason. The woman who checked us in, Abby, went over and above to make our stay wonderful and accommodated us in a myriad of ways! She deserves a promotion, and you reading this need to stay here...it’s worth it.

Great hotel

The hotel was very clean. I thought the room was going to be a little bigger then it was but it was nice. The hotel staff was GREAT(Akabar), every staff member that I ran into they greeted me. I will visit this hotel again.

Nice Hotel For the Area

We stayed at this hotel for a business trip. Seems like the best place to stay in the area. I think it used to be another brand of hotel and it was taken over. The front desk staff are very nice. The free shuttle service is an extra bonus to get around town (be sure to tip). The cafe has pretty good food. Lunch menu is nice and the entrees we had were tasty. The breakfast bar is a good price and pretty decent. Very nice servers. The bed was comfortable and the room clean. I think it could use some upgrades, but it’s fine for a business trip. Be sure to go to Jeju spa down the street and get a foot massage. Best 50.00 you’ll ever spend. 25.00 entry fee to use the facilities, but that’s a good deal for all that is included.
