How to Get There
I really enjoyed my stay here. It is an Autograph hotel so it’s very quaint and interesting. The rooms are large and spacious, they are very modern. The room has a full kitchen and the bathroom was very large. The gym is also very large with great equipment. This was an overall good stay.
I stayed at this location twice on business. The location is great. Easy access to the highway. Rooms are spacious and clean. The hotel staff was very accommodating and friendly. Additionally, the restaurant staff also had great service. Shamar and Landy were the wait staff during my visit. They were very charismatic and knowledgeable about the menu.
I stayed here for one night on January 18th, 2019. Very nice hotel and the check in was a breeze.
The room (1003) was very clean. The room was very modern.
The balcony was a nice feature, but super noisy if you leave the balcony door open. You will hear sirens all night because this hotel is beside Emory hospital.
The only downside to this hotel is the parking. Valet is the only option for $32 a night. You can park for free on the street, but it's very few spots and the homeless people are everywhere on the street. So I was a tad skeptical about trying to find a spot at very late at night.
Overall, this was a very good stay! Yes I would recommend this hotel!
My family stayed here for the Peach Bowl and it is a convenient location to many downtown attractions. The room was ready early. I was actually notified via the app that we could check in a 10:00 a.m. Wow! We had decided to add another day to our stay but had to do a separate booking. I informed the front desk when we arrived. The two women up front were distracted by visits from fellow co-workers and did not seem to understand that I wanted the reservations linked.
We go to our room. It is wonderful! A gorgeous one bedroom with a full kitchen, a balcony and a view to die for. Clean and well designed. We head to the Peach Bowl very happy. When we get back to the room though, I decide to call the front desk, just to see if the reservations had been linked. You can guess the answer, which is a resounding, "no." The male desk clerk assured me that the night auditor would take care of it and we would be checked out and then checked in around 5 a.m. the next morning.
When we woke up around 10 a.m. I checked my e-mail and there was no check-out. I call the front desk - yet again. They assured me they would take care of it and told me, "the problem would be passed on for improvement." Okay - sure.
We head out the next day, come back and we can't even use the elevator because - yep - you guessed it. The reservations had not been linked. I am incredibly frustrated at this point and I am politely telling the guest clerk that this is so unacceptable it has reached the ultraviolet realm of the spectrum. I also pointed out that as Marriott Gold member we haven't even been offered a free bottle of water and I was supposed to get a breakfast voucher.
Luckie the desk clerk stares back blankly and reluctantly gives me a $12.00 breakfast voucher that won't even cover the cost of toast at this hotel because, "we don't give breakfast, we only give points." Sigh.
I will not be back. I love the room. The location is convenient for many of the things we like but I will not stay here again. The hoops I jumped through for the simplest request would not have been required at even the cheapest hotel and to be asked to do them at this price point is absurd.
Our family of 5 spent 4 night in a two bedroom suite while we explored Atlanta. The location is great for all the main attractions such as the aquarium, coke, and museums. It didnt have a ton of restaurants in walking distance though unfortunately. The room itself was perfect. Two bedrooms and a full kitchen was really helpful with three kids. Hotel was super clean and service was amazing. So friendly and helpful. We asked for a crib and they brought it up promptly and set it up. The ladies who worked the restaurant were so wonderful and accommodating to our children. The only advise I have if you are platinum member, like my husband. And want a voucher for breakfast you have to ask. It's only for one continent breakfast which is bread, fruit and yogurt regardless if you have a two bedroom. I'm not sure if it was worth it. By default they give you points instead.
