I always enjoy this hotel and this stay was no exception. The staff are so friendly at check in and so accommodating. The room was beautiful, clean and spacious. Little things like a robe in the bathroom, lots of plush, large towels make such a difference. The hotel is so convenient to restaurants and across the street from Lenox mall.

My daughter and I vacationed in ATL from 4/17-21/19. The location of the hotel was perfect! Above that, the overall services that we received were exceptional from check-in to check-out. Car services were prompt. Front desk staff was pleasant and personable. Housekeeping was efficient. Bartenders at The Palm were on point! Thank you Jerome and the ENTIRE staff for an AMAZING visit! Good hotel Heart Of BuckHead

The Westin Buckhead is a fine hotel next to the Lennox Mall.The location was perfect with access to shopping and fine dining. You have 2 malls within 5 minutes and you are 5-10 minutes away from the highway and the subway. The check in was effortless and we had a professional that took care of our check in.I have only one complain $42 per night for parking. The hotel is not cheap and then you have to fork over money for parking. There are several spots around to eat. We forgot our toothpaste and concierge gave us one measly toothpaste
packet to share. The content was barely enough for one person, Overall I will stay again at this hotel for the right price. The decor was on point and there was ample space in the room and bathroom for 2 people. I did not have to request a good room they gave it to me. the hotel was quite most of the time except for one guest with some sort of big dig that started barking. I called front desk and they took care of it.

Hotel seems to be suffering in customer service since the Marriott merger

I'm a SPG gold member, whatever it is now under Marriott, and have stayed at this property probably 20+ times in the past few years. It's my "go to" in Atlanta. Since the merger, customer service seems to have suffered.

Case in point, I was there a month or so ago and parked in the deck. Something leaked all over my car's hood and windshield from the ceiling of the deck. I notified the hotel and they assured me they'd fix it or seal off that spot. They offered nothing to make up for the issue, until I finally asked them to at least refund my parking fee, which they did - without acknowledging my e-mail asking for them to do so. A credit simply appeared on my SPG AmEx. Thanks. On my recent visit, it was not sealed off, and the car that was parked there again had "stuff" all over it. I'm sure that person and his Mercedes S-Class appreciated it as well.

I had also requested a 4 pm checkout this trip. Granted, under SPG Gold, it was always given. It's 2 pm checkout guarantee now under Marriott; however, since I routinely stay there, they have always graciously extended it to 4 pm due to my loyalty. At check in, I asked about it and was told I'd need to call down on the day of departure to see if they could give it to me. The night before, I stopped at the desk on the way to the room to ask. They asked me if I was a Platinum member, to which I replied no, but that they'd always honored it there due to my loyalty. She apologized and said no. I asked if there was someone else I could speak with, so she disappeared into the back to return with someone else. I asked him if she'd mentioned my request, to which he said no. (Really? She came back and told him I was there, and he didn't ask what I wanted?) I once again asked if they could extend it to 4 pm, and he immediately said no. He never looked at my account, just "no." I told him I'd stayed there for years, and to please verify that and reconsider. He said he could go as late as 2 pm, to which I replied I was a Gold member, and I already had 2 pm, which he would have known had he looked at my account. I asked for the manager, and he said he was the manager. I told him he was not, because I knew of the manager after having to deal with him previously. He handed me a card with the operations manager's name, and I again told him that was not the manager, as I'd talked to him regarding the parking deck issue. Only then did he look at my account, and said, "I can do 4 pm this time, but only this time." I thanked him and returned to my room, only to find my room key no longer worked. Ha! Fortunately, my roommate was in the room and his key did work.

I appreciated his flexibility in finally agreeing to honor a simple request for a loyal guest. I stayed there that time, but only that time. I will stay elsewhere from now on, and be happy with the 2 pm checkout I'm given. If Marriott doesn't appreciate loyalty, I fail to see why I should.

My stay at the Westin was excellent! Beautiful facility and the staff was exceptional. I was in a bind for work. Michael Thompson went above and to ensure I had what I needed to ensure a successful meeting with my client. Kudos to Michael and the rest of the Westin staff for a customer centric approach!
