I had the pleasure of being assisted by the BEAUTUFUL and oh so DELIGHTFUL Chanel.....she was very PLEASANT and overly helpful which is a HUGE plus....the room exceeded my expectations and I cant wait to visit this hotel again
The service I received at this hotel was great. I checked in late at night an Monet went out of her way to help me extend my stay by one extra night. The rooms are nice and clean. The restaurant attached has good food but there are many restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. The hotel has a cool, funky vibe which is different than your average Marriott property. I will stay here again!
I booked the hotel to visit a trade show. 2 days prior to arrival they send me a message that they have to cancel my reservation (confirmed before) because they were overbooked. They put me in a hotel far away from the convention center instead. In my > 10 years of intense international travel I have never seen this before.
And my Platin Elite Status with Marriott did not change their mind. Customer loyalty does not seem to be important to them.
This behaviour is totally unacceptable for business travellers. I would not recommend anyone to stay there.
Beautiful hotel in a great location, not far from lots of good restaurants. Staff was warm and hospitable. Lobby and rooms were modern and clean. Aveda bath products. Good food from room service.
I found everything to be as expected. I would definitely stay here again.
Firstly new clients have no idea as to where to checkin ...... no signage stating this little table is check in & Navigator (Concierge for those not upto date with new titles like me) another client pointed me to area checkin staff certainly did not!! We were international travellers that arrived earlier than check in as a rewards member requested early check in but understand not always possible:
“Your room isn’t ready but we will call when it is!!!”
NO explanation of where how restaurant was and weather open for business to fill in time whilst we waited for room! No explanation re meal times wifi etc etc was very cold reception which made us feel extremely unwelcome.... luggage was put into storage for aporix 4 hrs ....later another staff member noted we were still waiting asked our situation, he had our room keys and said girl who checked us in had been trying to ring us .... no missed calls on phone !!!!! Luggage received from holding but no luggage trolley so you have to transport your own luggage regardless ... from what I saw there was only one luggage trolley for whole hotel!!! Music in lifts is lovely but so loud it becomes very annoying even for short rides ..... appears if you put out green cleaning sign on door to miss a days room service this automatically means you MUST go three days without cleaning ... I have in past thought this was something that was determined on a day to day basis by guest ... well it has been in all other places I have stayed !!!!
Restaurant staff and food was lovely,rooms where comfortable but I would be not considering this as a return place to stay on my many visits to Atlanta
