How to Get There
Stayed here for 5 night during a business conference. Whole organisation was impeccable. Breakfast, lunch and snacks provided whole time. Food was served fresh and warm.
Hotel staff was really friendly, especially staff manager since I had a credit card issue.
Room was nice and clean with a complementary coffee.
My husband and I had just eloped the and were looking for a nice little honeymoon. The lobby was stunning, our room was beautiful and hotel is in an excellent location. The highlight of our stay was Mahelet from the Rowdy Tiger, she took great care of us.
However, as a Front Office Supervisor who has previously partnered with Marriott, and currently partnering with Sage at a Leading Hotel in Nashville, I have certain expectations.
We called ahead to request a king bed, which we thankfully received, (Thank you!) and to tell them this was our honeymoon. No congratulations or anything was offered during our stay. Valet was not on site at time of arrival and unprofessional. In addition, I was not greeted first, I approached the desk feeling unwelcome and like a nuisance. I waited for them to notice my presence. My check in was rushed, my information on my profile was not confirmed, the amenities of the hotel were told in a rushed and robotic manner, I was not given an exact time for breakfast upon request, and my name was not once mentioned during my stay. My encounters with Front Desk were not personalized and I felt like they didn’t want to be there. Our room was beautiful but there were holes in the sheets with small stains. The mirror was also dirty and I found trash by the bed. We had told valet we had comped parking, but it was added onto our bill anyways after checkout. Upon check out, we were asked if we needed a copy of our bill, but we were not asked how our stay went, we did not receive a goodbye of any kind, and our check out was interrupted. I understand that these are small things, and very easy to miss, but I believe it’s important to let someone know, this hotel would have unfortunately failed an audit. I would only hope that the front desk is reminded how important each and every interaction is.
Have stayed here before. And will continue. Very friendly and efficient valet staff. VERY friendly and accommodating lobby and reception staff. Hotel is perfectly located downtown/midtown for business and events. Rooms are top notch
