Noisy and dated
Reviewed 18 hours ago

I stayed here a while back, for the Atlanta Hot Chocolate 15K. The hotel itself is big - spread across 2 buildings. The check-in was tedious, taking over 30 mins to get to the front of the line. The staff themselves were pleasant enough. Some of the people working in the hotel need training though. At least one worker who was trying to apply some advertising on the front of a working-operating elevator almost pushed me over because I was in his way. Really charming! not. The room was OK -- really dated decor though, and throughout the night something kept banging (like an elevator hitting a limit or something). This place is not a cheap stay either. Needless to say, I will NOT be staying here again. Way better places in Downtown ATL!!

Bad Stay
Reviewed 19 hours ago

I am very disappointed in my stay at the Omni Atlanta at CNN Center. Staff was very unfriendly. Staff seemed annoyed anytime I asked about the area - restaurants, getting around ..... which is odd being in the tourism and hospitality business. Also, I had a very bad experience my first night. When I got to my room, I pulled down the comforter to take a nap. It was clear the sheets had not been changed. The sheets had stains, hair all over, and overall slept in look. It was disgusting to think the hotel would try to get away with such a thing. I called guest services immediately and it took over an hour and half for someone to come change the sheets after another phone call and visit to front desk. During the action of changing the sheet, it revealed the under pad had not been washed for a while. It had a huge period stain that appeared to have not been washed. Period stains typically fade in color with a wash. Oddly, the housekeeper blamed me for the stain (so weird). I told her I just checked into the room. To think the staff would put clean sheets on top of soiled material is insanitary. When she took off the pad, it revealed a bed that had been soiled several times. I immediately wrote guest services. That was 5 days ago. I have not heard back. The next morning after the sheet incident, I noticed the coffee maker and two lamps did not work. Overall, I can say my experience was awful. Mostly because I never heard back from management. Things happen. However, I am surprised with the lack of pride, hospitality, and professionalism of the Omni Brand. I never right poor reviews because I address it with management. However, corporate did not reach out at all. Please do not waste your money on this hotel.

Terrible experience

Run down- room was terrible! Halls and elevators dirty.

Over priced for the quality - was not worth the money paid. Beds old and uncomfortable.

Shameful that I had to pay $45 a day for parking!

Room was not cleaned one day girl at service desk told me they were not finished with rooms it was 4 pm/ she finally agreeded to call House keeping- never apologized- the woman who came to room was very nice but shocked no one had cleanerd. I was at this hotel last year and had the same experience! I won’t stay again.

week’s stay

I needed a place to stay as I was moving from another state for job reasons. I received a great rate through guest services. The hotel room is very spacious and the staff is very professional. I’d stay there again.

Going downhill
Reviewed 3 days ago

Room has a bad smell. Loud noises from A/C. Indifferent front desk employees. Did the online check in and the key wasn't on the key board. Wrong information printed about where the vending machines are. There are other nicer places to stay. I used to like it here.
