How to Get There
From check-in to room service to check-out, this was truly a splendid lodging experience. This location is right next door to the State Bar of Georgia's Coastal Georgia office, and the restaurants in the area are terrific. The Hyatt Regency truly offers the best of Savannah.
As always my stay at the Hyatt was fun and relaxing. My check in was scheduled for 4pm but was allowed an early 1pm check in. This allowed for me to get into my room, relax a little bit longer and spend more time in the City.
overall nice time, had some hickups along the way, but were corrected. food was great, did not have to leave thr hotel, overall ok, cant beat the location.hghghggghghggvhgghgflgh, bkjgjghfhjbhhvhvhjvhjljbkjb
Great job Hyatt!
My friend had to take a test in Savannah and so I went as moral support for her. Check in was quick and easy and actually awesome due to Chris. He gave us a good luck surprise! We had a river view room (the best!) and it was awesome.
The room was clean and we had plenty of towels. The AC unit was good too not loud and it came on and off as needed.
I did clog the toilet -- hey a girl has to go! And the engineer came and fixed it in under 20 minutes. Never had that happen at a hotel before but there it is! He was nice, efficient and didn't embarrass me more than I already was.
The valet (his name begins with an S....ugh I wish I could remember how to spell it) was AWESOME. Super helpful and so polite.
(Valet parking is a little pricey -- over $40 / night not including tip -- and you have to tip as they are the BEST)
There is a private riverfront access that we used and is really nice too. Makes it easy. And there are a ton of restaurants and shops on the riverfront.
And you're only a 20 minute drive from the fabulous Tybee Island beaches!
Have fun at this Hyatt!!!
Devin, our valet was very friendly and helpful. The Hyatt Regency was a beautiful hotel and was far more reasonable than the lesser hotel at which I spent my first 3 nights, 30 minutes further away. Next time I will know where to start off.
