Was very active paranormally. Inn staff was great and it was clean. Breakfast in the courtyard was fabulous. Check out East Coast Spirit Chasers on Facebook and You Tube to see our recaps and videos from our Savannah investigating.

Wonderful experience

We stayed for one night at Eliza Thompson House and wished we’d been able to stay longer.
We arrived early -12.00 and check in is 15.00. However, Sandra on the front desk was very welcoming and was happy for us to leave our luggage. Kelly came to say hello and produced 2 glasses of wine “to get this vacation started”. Our room had a four poster bed and was furnished beautifully. Early evening there’s a reception in the antique furnished drawing room with wine, soft drinks and a selection of appetisers/snacks. Kelly was on hand, ensuring glasses were replenished.
In the evening, dessert and coffee is served. We didn’t take advantage of this as we had dinner at Chives, which was a recommendation from Kelly. It’s also now a recommendation from us; it was superb. Returning to ETH after dinner, we had a night cap in the beautiful courtyard garden.
Breakfast the next morning was very good and served in the courtyard, with the chef on hand to explain everything and trying to persuade a reluctant British woman to try grits. He wasn’t successful!!
This stay was very special and I can’t recommend Eliza Thompson House enough. It’s located on a beautiful street in the historic part of Savannah and if you’re visiting and stay here, you will have a wonderful experience. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff who ensured we had a visit to remember.

Incredibly welcoming and will only stay here in the future

Location was absolutely fantastic. Everything was very walkable. Breakfasts were delicious, and dessert and coffee each evening were the perfect end to the day. We were amazed at the different assortment of appetizers set out with the happy hour as well. Can't say enough good things about the food and the service. Great atmosphere to meet travelers from all over - guests were very nice to chat with during the happy hour and the after dinner desserts.
