Lovely vintage home with fabulous breakfast

The only negative about our stay at Eliza Thompson House was that we could only stay one night. The staff was the friendliest and most helpful people I've ever come across in a hotel. The atmosphere was historic, romantic, and special. The beds were comfortable. The "throne room" was a little...throne-like, but it had charm. The breakfast was out of this world, and they also have appetizers and wine in the evening, and dessert later. I loved the courtyard. Don't hesitate to stay here.

This is the most wonderful place to stay. Completely felt like a home away from home. The staff is excellent. No request is too great or too small. Miss Kelly the concierge is a total pro, and extremely thoughtful. And the bellman, Kevin, took care of every request right away.
The wine hour with appetizers and desserts and the breakfasts were wonderful, and a lovely opportunity to socialize with other guest if you wish. There is a magnificent courtyard when the weather is nice, to lounge around and read a book or just enjoy the sounds of the fountain. It is on jones street which is the nicest street in Savannah! Southern hospitality at its best

My wife and I love Savannah and always stay in a b&b in the historic district. ETH was great! The breakfast was very tasty, the evening wine reception was a party-like atmosphere (depending on the guests) and the desert hour was also quite nice. The staff was very courteous and helpful, especially Kelly & Kevin!

Stayed for 2 nights enroute to Florida and we couldn't be happier with our time at Eliza Thompson!
Kelly made us feel right at home, suggesting things to do and actually booking them for us and incorporating the cost into our room charge.
Our room was great and our breakfast was delicious. The wine and and snacks before supper was really appreciated and evening desert treat was also great.
We will be back!

The Eliza Thompson House is located on one of the most beautiful streets in historic Savannah, Jones Street.

We stayed in the Oglethorpe room, which was very private and comfortable. The courtyard area is very relaxing with a large fountain in the middle, and a perfect area for having your breakfast.

The breakfast is a buffet style, and was filling and tasty. The attendant was excellent, very friendly and efficient, keeping the food supply going, and even coming around to pour coffee.
