Friendly inn, wonderful visit in Savannah
Reviewed 23 hours ago

Agree completely with all the positive reviews. This inn has the nicest staff. Everyone made sure I was well taken care of. The food at breakfast, wine+appetizer, and dessert time was delicious and varied. The lounge was beautifully decorated for the holiday season and a cozy, friendly atmosphere where it was fun to socialize with the other guests. It's perfectly located , easy walking to many sights, museums, and the lovely parks/squares throughout Savannah. I felt very safe and well taken care of as a solo traveller for the first part of the week. My friend who visited later was also equally charmed by the hospitality and setting. This inn made my visit to Savannah a relaxing getaway and truly memorable.

Amazing hospitality...even after you have checked out!

I could repeat all the fabulous things that have been said about staying here but what really stands out is the hospitality provided AFTER we checked out! We had a late flight out so we could enjoy one more full day of Savannah! They kept our bags for us and offered us to use the lobby as long as we would like after we were done walking around and to partake in the horsdeurves and wine before our Lyft picked us up for the airport. We will be back! And so will our friends.

A jewel in charming Savannah

This B&B was the best we ever stayed in. It is beautiful decorated and has a nice garden, where you can have an outstanding breakfast. Every evening you can sit in the parlor on the fireplace and have some snacks, a glas of wine or Sherry and can talk with all the other guests and when you come back from dinner there are sweet surprises in the parlor. They were to die for.
The staff is fantastic. This is southern hospitality as its best.
We felt like at home. If we come back to Savannah and we will do so, Eliza Thompson house will be our place to stay.
Thanks to all the members of the staff.

Gives a feeling of warmth in November

The cozy lobby with it’s fireplace was a gathering room with a cheese & wine and a dessert time. The staff were welcoming, helpful and friendly. The whole experience gave a warm feeling. The location was perfect for sightseeing and short walks to great restaurants. I always wanted to spend more time in Savannah and enjoyed my stay at Eliza Thompson House.

The breakfast is very good as well. There is abolutely nothing, we did not like.
If we are in Savannah again and we will be, we will choose this jewel again.
