2 night trip with wife and dog

The location is perfect. Walking distance to almost everything you want to see. Many fine places to dine near by. The staff was friendly and very helpful in suggesting ways to maximize our time. The room was well adorned and very comfortable. Parking was not a problem. Even had treats for our furry companion, and suggested a walking tour made for dogs.

Perfect choice

I had done research on the East Bay Inn and I loved the concept of it being a restored historic building. It had been a cotton warehouse and they kept the charm of the old, exposed brick and the incredible original floors. The room was large, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. There was a large couch, 2 wing chairs and a trunk coffee table. You felt as though you were in someone’s historic home. The bathroom was also large and gleaming.
We were coming without a car so I wanted to be sure we were within walking distance to the river and the local restaurants. Again, a perfect choice as we could walk right across the street and down to the river walk.
Miranda, who made a mean Mimosa at the bar gave, us some great suggestions for dinner the first night. She was spot on. She, as was the entire staff, from the manager Ronnie Jones,on through the front desk and cleaning crew were so incredibly welcoming.
This hotel is a real winner and I fee it is fairly priced.

We loved everything about the East Bay Inn and wanted especially to thank staff who went out of their way to ensure our comfort and happiness . This is a beautiful historic Inn with appropriate period detail , close to downtown, SCAD, the waterfront and all the best Savannah has to offer .
There is a VERY convenient garage nearby to park (within 2 blocks) ,multiple restaurants, lovely pink lemonade on tap for guests and multiple positive readings of our EMF meter- for our haunting and ghost hungry 12 year old who begged for another night.

My wife and I booked one night here on our way to Florida. It was a beautiful room filled with charm and character. A very friendly staff here too. Great location, close to attractions, shopping and bars and restuarants.Would recommend and will come back.

Impressive historic property

We stopped here with our cat on our way to Florida. We were impressed with the location, friendly staff, and outstanding quality of this old inn. Parking was arranged in a nearby garage; we enjoyed a complimentary glass of wine in the adjacent bar. After drinks, we strolled across the street to the Savannah River for a delicious supper at the Boar’s Head Grill & Tavern. Highly recommend this fine establishment! Our cat loved it, too!
