Excellent staff, great heated pool!!
Reviewed 5 days ago

We stayed three nights for an anniversary trip. Every staff member, from the valet, the house keeping staff, the bars, and the management treated us like royalty!

We had a slight issue on the last night that was not taken care of by the next morning and the manager David went through great lengths to make up for it. He was superb and we will be back due to his professional approach.

The pool is heated to 90° and the pool bar staff put up with us for hours. Very professional, entertaining, and generous.

The food was top notch and the valet service never missed a beat. We certainly will be back this summer!

Weekend Stay

Beautiful hotel. Rooms were great. Had dinner at the Steakhouse. It was the best. Great atmosphere, great food, and manager Jon Paul was the best. I would definitely recommend for a friends getaway or a special weekend.

Good Hotel......does not have breakfast buffet (we had kids with us), however resturants on site. A conference was happening and it was very loud (every night). Do not stay in the back of the hotel as you get the thumping from the music downstairs. Food and Service was good. Our room seem a little dated. Elevators were real slow and when we took the stairs the doors were lock at the bottom. They have a heated pool which was great for the kids.

Amazing, Wonderful, Stay Here
Reviewed 1 week ago

My toddler son and I came to stay here with my mother, who was attending a conference. First of all, the hotel is lovely. We were met right away by a valet and baggage team that got us out of our car and into the hotel very quickly. Finding the front desk was easy, and the initial impression is definitely a "resort" feel. Our room was great, though a "corner suite" that looks out onto the side of a building on one side of the corner probably should not be advertised as a "corner." The room was a good size and the view (the one not looking into the side of a building) was amazing. The balcony was a great size, just big enough to have a couple chairs and a small table. This was plenty for us because mom and I could sit out there with a bottle of wine after my kiddo went to bed. The balcony also felt safe even with my toddler out there, though he did master the lock on the door pretty quickly and if he could have opened the door (it was way too heavy for a 2 year old) he would have been out there alone. Older kids wouldn't have a problem doing that.
We ordered room service twice, once for breakfast and one dinner. The kids breakfast pancake was awesome. My toddler doesn't eat anything that he doesn't recognize, but the smiley face on the pancake was so enchanting to him he couldn't resist. The eggs and burrito were terrific, served hot and quickly. The gumbo we had for dinner was so good we wished we'd ordered a third bowl to split, and the kids pizza was HUGE, and my little guy ate it happily.
We visited the pool, which in January was so warm it felt like a bathtub, and it was wonderful even though the day was a cooler (mid 60s). The only thing I didn't like was that I had to walk through the lobby in wet bathing suits to get back to the room, past restaurants and waiting guests. That felt weird, but the elevators opened quickly.
My mother had an issue with the business center, and when she went to the front desk, the wonderful woman sitting at the desk advertising the villas was so helpful. She literally solved the problem and got my mom on her way to her presentation. Talk about saving the day.
They have Macaw there named Phydias that my son adored. The parrot would say hello and bye bye to him over and over again... for a 2 year old, that's heaven. And on the last morning that the housekeeping staff cleans your room before checkout, they "hide" a stuffed toy Macaw in your room and leave a note for your child from Phydias stating that he is "lost" in your room and if the child can find him they can keep him forever. My son was utterly enchanted. He even chose to take his new "Phydias" to his first day of preschool with him after we returned home!
The stay wasn't without a few issues. The elevators will sometimes take FOREVER to arrive. No big deal most of the time, but when you're in a wet bathing suit after leaving the pool, it can get chilly for a little kid to wait in the lobby. We also requested a microwave at check in, but it never arrived in our room, nor did the second luggage stand we also requested. By and large though, these were minor inconveniences. Had my son refused to eat anything but familiar food, the microwave would have been an issue, but he ate what they brought us, so it was fine. It also would have been nice if the in room dining could have been brought on a table instead of a tray. We had nowhere to really eat and that was weird. Again, a really minor issue in a spectacular hotel.
On our last morning, we awoke to see that the hotel had spelled out a giant thank you note to our conference on the chairs in the pool area. It was just another way that we felt very welcome here. The service overall is impeccable and attentive. The spaces are comfortable and relaxing. The beds are super comfortable. We cannot wait to come back for the conference again next year. Thank you so much.

Stayed in a "club 10" room and had a great time. spacious room, nice amenities, and the sunrise and sunsets from the balcony were just amazing. my only complaint would be the odd/dated shower controls, but that is minor detail.
