How to Get There
Definitely a treat to stay here! It does smell old even though it’s been updated. Rooms are very small but clean and comfy. Beds are amazing! Pool was super nice and fun!! We chose to explore the island. The waterfront is a few feet in front of the hotel. Centrally located. Definitely will return
Of all the restaurants in this beach town, we choose this one to celebrate our special days. From the moment you drive up to the entrance until you leave the treatment is special (valet parking is free if you eat at the restaurant). The hotel is eye candy. It was built in 1911 and is on the National Register of Historic Places. The ceilings are high and held up by arches that separate the restaurant from walkways. This keeps the feeling open, yet intimate. We could hear the jazz combo in the bar next to us, yet the acoustics in the room allowed us to have a conversation even after the restaurant filled with patrons. But the people that work here make the experience worth repeating. The waitstaff are professionals. Nanette was our waitress, and she knows how make an evening really special. Thank you!
Title pretty much says it, room had no desk, was very small, phone did not work, no refrigerator as stated during booking with the hotel itself. Gotta give restaurant a 5 * for the salmon...best I have had. Breakfast buffet was good but pricey as was the mini room.
