Flying to Nice

Excellent location, clean hotel with a very good service. We were few times there as a flight crew and Mr. Leoni took care of us like no one did. Mediterranean breakfast meet anybody's taste. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone especially seaview rooms.

Great location but .....

Good location, nice friendly staff but very poorly maintained rooms. Not sure if we were given older rooms due to the rate we were charged but based on our experience the rooms need to be totally renovated. It was extremely difficult to open the sliding doors on our built in robes. Doors hard to open due to carpet. Bathroom sink had a very large crack in it. But the rooms were very quiet and we were on the corner with a partial Seaview. Would only stay here if you received a really good rate as I don’t believe it’s worth the rates advertised st the front desk.

Good location on sea front, good sized rooms

We booked 4 nights in Superior Sea View room through Secret Escapes and got a very good deal. The view from the room was lovely and the room was a good size. Bed very comfy and breakfast plenty of choice. Did get a little crowded at breakfast, but we didn't have to wait for a table. Staff helpful, although we did have an issue with the smell of weed permeating the room on one occasion! but unable to move as no sea view room available (plus only 1 night before departure). We blocked up the adjoining door and that seemed to help. Location is good, however, I would prefer to be a little closer to the old town as it takes approx 35mins to walk and when on feet all day it can be tiring. One thing missing is a decent bar area to get a drink. The bar is at the back of the building and very claustrophobic! We ate at the restaurant, but portion size very small for the cost and so we wouldn't recommend this, better value elsewhere.
We took the train into Monaco (quick and good value). We caught the Cannes bus and stopped off at Antibes - which is a must do visit if you have time and bus 1.50Euro pp e/w. Does take a while stopping at most stops, but you can opt for train if you wish. We took the Airport bus to and from location as stop just outside hotel, its worth it but can get crowded. Loved visiting the Old Town and surrounding area, lots of ambiance.

Love Nice

Stayed for a week, had stayed in Nice previously, but further out. Wanted somewhere closer and within easy walking distance to centre.
Getting on a bit so not sure if we would drive this far again, pushed the boat out. Worth every penny, beautiful room, fantastic views. Staff helpful and always available, food excellent, with couple of nice restaurants minutes walk away for a change. Breakfast very good. Would we go back, absolutely.

Wow West End

Only giving a 4 rather than a 5
because of the size of the room .

Great hotel to stay in Nice - we only had one night because of our flight the next day. This is my 3rd stay at the hotel.

I would also stay here for a 5 or 6 day visit of Nice . This is a very nice hotel - staff is wonderful the hotel is very clean with a beautiful decor. Even though our room was small it was very well done with modern furnishings . There are numerous sitting areas a business center and concierge who is very help. I should mention we did not have breakfast here because of our early morning flight.

Obviously because of the location on the Promenade there is traffic noise. That is true of all hotels along the boulevard - across the street is the Côte d'Azur and our window opened to a side garden view. I like the fact you can open a window and, unlike some major hotels, this is not possible. As I mentioned, the staff is pleasant and accommodating and several languages are spoken. It's a 20 minute taxi ride to the airport, across from the beach and behind the hotel is a walking area with
many restaurants and shops.
There are rooms that face the ocean and if I were to stay again, I would opt for an ocean view room.

Enjoy !
