Hotel NH Nice
What We Love
- Contemporary comforts at a modern hotel in Nice, with a rooftop pool and easy access to the centre Kicking back on the stunning rooftop terrace, complete with a pool and a bar
- Enjoying traditional French Niçoise dishes at the exquisite on-site restaurant
- Opting for a suite stay and enjoying added space and extra luxuries
Regarded by many as the height of Gallic chic, a visit to the French Riviera capital of Nice is at the top of many a visitor’s wish list. Positioned a little way from the city’s central bustle, Hotel NH Nice makes a great option for both exploring the historic centre and the French Riviera’s wider environs. Housed in an imposing modern white building, its real selling point has to be its magnificent rooftop terrace, cooled by welcome breezes in the hot summer months.
Here you can flop in the rooftop pool (with towels and loungers supplied), hot it up in the sauna, chill out by the bar or enjoy a refined meal at the restaurant. It all makes for a highly civilised way to begin or end each day. Guestrooms and suites are equally polished and make for stylish retreats, with gleaming hardwood floors and a cool contemporary air. Work off any excess energy after a day’s sightseeing or beach lazing in the on-site gym on the sixth floor, which is kitted out with the latest equipment.
How to Get There
We had a great stay at this Hotel the staff were very helpful especially Milena on the front desk. Great location and the rooms are great as there have recently been renovated.Would definitely stay here again.
They made my Birthday stay very special.
The cleaning personnel and their service is a disaster they never gave us more tissues, nor coffee. We were two people and when we only got towels for one person and I kindly ask for one more, she entered the room and started to discuss. Even opened the bathroom door while my friend was in the shower! Unacceptable behaviour.
I stayed at the hotel recently for 4 nights and whilst the hotel has some positives such as the location, comfortable beds, and clean rooms, it also has some negatives.
The location indeed is wonderful and you can walk easily into the city, very near the tram and train lines also which was very handy. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Rooms are spacious however the room we were given was a little outdated and it was on the first floor and extremely noisy in the morning with traffic etc
Upon arrival, we were advised that renovations were going on every day (except Sunday) and to except some level of noise. Perhaps it was the room we were given but the noise level was unbearable and started early each morning and lasted all day until 6.30pm - the renovations were going on right outside our room and felt as if someone was going to break through the walls! Upon departure, I advised the lady on the reception it wasn't the most pleasant stay at the hotel due to the noise and she pretty much ignored what I said. It is a nice hotel but definitely do not stay on the first floor!
We spent one night at the newly renovated NH on our way to Monte Carlo and really enjoyed our stay. Not only was our room large and comfortable, with attractive contemporary decor, but the hotel's pool and sauna were very welcome after a long flight. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were delighted to discover how close the hotel was to Old Nice, which is filled with wonderful restaurants and shops.
One point needs to be made, which is that the hotel does host large groups and at breakfast we found ourselves in a very noisy, crowded dining room. If you are interested in a quiet breakfast, you might want to order room service. Otherwise, we had no complaints and in fact, would be happy to return to the NH next time we are in Nice.
Good hotel with newly refurbished rooms.
Rooms are spacious and have all expected amenities for a 4 star hotel. Beds are comfortable and tall. TV, mini-bar, walk-in shower modern appliances and separate toilet roundup the offering.
Special mention for the breakfast buffet. Quality products and a huge choice.
Ideally located for conventions but also for visits as tram stop just in front, Easy connections to old Nice as well as to the "promenade des anglais"
