Stayed for a quick 3 days break with my wife. Staff friendly and very helpful. Room ready at 1pm, and you vacate at noon. 3 rd floor room was excellent, almost new, great bathroom, with great sea view. Breakfast very good and hours (7-11) excellent. Location fantastic for the Old Quarter and Harbour walks. Would stay again

Relaxing. Only little is missing ...

We stayed in this quite expensive hotel some days in midsummer, spending the time between beach, old town, pool, room, roof terrace and restaurant which was absolutely relaxing.

The location is among the best in town for a tourist: very close to amusing Promenade des Anglais and its beaches and the gorgeous and lively old town with its restaurants and shops.

The best thing about the hotel is its view. Ask for a room with full sea view. Otherwise you only have half the experience. We had a Deluxe with balcony on the top floor and the view was amazing, as if you were floating between the bay, the sea, the town and the sky! The room was well equipped, but not very large. Impeccable cleaning service.

Had breakfast and dinner in the Patio Restaurant which is a peaceful oasis in vibrant Nice during high season. Everything is very casual.

According the rank of the Hotel and the special location, food and service could be more refined and the atmosphere more unique or special. It was ok, but I missed a touch more joy and passion. (the plate for example was never preheated, service staff should be better trained internally and I was missing a person in charge, a responsible in the whole house).

With a little more elan and style the hotel could become one of the leading houses in Nice.

Grim and Grimey

Don’t trust the reviews - we checked in for four nights yesterday and have checked out today despite losing the cost of a four day stay. It’s a rabbit warren of unloved and disjointed spaces that induced instant depression even as you enter off the street into what feels like a dodgy clinic for backstreet lobotomy’s. You’ll probably need one to enjoy it. We are now at Hotel Negresco which might as well be in a different galaxy without a hugely different tariff.

Everything was wonderful. The hotel was immaculate and the setting is perfect. Would return in a minute!Breakfast was great, the bar cosy and the rooms more than comfortable. The view of the sea is breathtaking.
