How to Get There
We loved this hotel! Pictures don’t do the views justice. Our room was elegant and spacious with beautiful views of the Mediterranean. Breakfast every morning under citrus trees in the garden was so lovely we never had a desire to go anywhere else. Worth every penny!
The hotel we originally booked in Nice was horrible, so ended up booking very last minute for a 2 night stay. The price was last-minute, very high, but there was not much available.
After being so disappointed with the other hotel, we were delighted to be upgraded to an incredible, ocean-view suite. Staff was welcoming and friendly (what a nice change!) and the hotel is charming.
Our room was thoughtfully decorated, very spacious and very comfortable. With an expansive view of Nice and the Baie des Anges, there was no need to leave! Simply the best patio Nice has to offer.
Breakfast was wonderful - lots of selection, and the patio is beautiful to dine on. I would not, however, recommend the restaurant for dinner. We felt that the chefs menu lacked innovation (we were told that the choices would be unique, but then were simply served what was on the a la carte menu!) and were not good value for the 50 euro price. Old Town Nice is steps away and has much better choices.
I stayed here as a couple in July. It’s pretty centrally placed, within walking distance of the old town and lots of restaurants. It has a lovely pool and offers happy hour daily. We had a sea view room with a tiny balcony. If you want to splash out go for one with a terrace on the top floor. The room was quite disappointing - it seemed much smaller than on the photos. The bed was comfortable and bed linen good quality. It’s quite a quirky little hotel with lifts to access different floors. The staff were helpful. We had dinner there the first evening which was ok, service quite slow, and unresponsive. I think the food and drink are quite expensive. Overall, nice but not amazing.
