How to Get There
Lovely hotel close to the centre. Friendly staff. Clean. Super choice at breakfast.
Beds could be updated. Not much of a view and room service just snacks no evening restaurant. However we would stay again
Stayed here for my wife's 50th birthday in August 2018.
Rooms very dated and small . On our arrival there was a sewage smell coming from the drain in the toilet to which we complained about and in fairness it wasn't there on our second day. On our second night we couldn't sleep as there was fault with the air con unit so we were moved rooms at 02:00 in the morning and had to take all our luggage with us that resulted in me leaving a shoe in the room we initially had. When we got home and emptied the luggage we called the hotel about the show but unfortunately for us as we had made several complaints on our visit the the gentleman on reception informed me that no shoe was found and he thought it was quite funny .
Certainly would not return, seemingly they are part of s beach club they tell you nothing about and my wife and I paid 50 euros for 2 sunbeds with another beach club not knowing this information.
The hotel is very conveniently located for the local tram system, the railway station, the old town district and the airport. Throughout our stay, we were made to feel very welcome by hotel staff. Our double room was fine, although the bathroom was somewhat 'compact' and the wardrobe space tiny. There was an 'in-room' safe but unfortunately ours had its lock missing. The bar area was cool, with its 40's jazz theme. I can't comment on the breakfast as my wife and I like to get 'out and about' and enjoyed having breakfast at the numerous local cafes, watching the world go by. We would thoroughly recommend taking a trip to Monaco and to some of the bays along the coast from Nice (we visited Villefranche-sur-Mer.,) Very easy to do by train.
We stayed here in May 2018 for 3 nights. The hotel had kindly upgraded our room and it was very pleasant. Not too large with a nice window overlooking the courtyard.
The hotel is very central and we came and went often throughout the day. We found the reception staff to be very helpful with information on what buses to catch to get around and where to find the nearest bus stop.
Breakfast was really really good. So much variety was on offer with plenty of tables to sit at, even outside although we didn't find it warm enough.
We loved the bar decor and the Happy Hour made having a cocktail seem acceptable!
I wouldn't hesitate to book here when visiting Nice.
Stayed here for three nights. The room was classified a Classic room and had comfortable beds. On the fifth floor so quiet with good air con so the 32degrees temperature outside was a bit of a shock! Large bathroom, good shower and very clean. What more could you need?
Brilliant breakfast with a huge choice of food and coffee.
The live music from Sarah on Friday night was a treat.
We would definitely return.
