How to Get There
Strategic location as ~ 10 min walk to the train station and you’re in Monte Carlo within 20 mins!
Staff numbers are thin and the receptionists often too busy to attend to you. Collection of extra towels, cleaning etc is mostly DIY.
The rooms, though clean, are a bit tacky and in need of refurbishment. There was a damp smell from the dishwasher but thank goodness the air conditioning worked well.
The pool on the ‘roof’ looked cold and stale, not inviting even in summer. No room cleaning offered, unless you stayed for 5 days I think, so we didn’t get any domestic visit for the 2 nights we spent.
A cost effective alternative for a busy F1 weekend but I might consider paying more next time to afford better.
Remember, this is a self serviced apartment NOT a hotel!
Visited for 5 nights (2 adults, 2children) as part of a BA holiday.
The accommodation was noted as 4 star, which it certainly wasn’t. It’s 3 star at best.
Pro’s: good location, parking available (at a charge), reasonably quiet rooms, helpful staff.
Con’s: rooms are tiny for 4 people, no where near enough cupboard space and no draws at all for clothing, no means of washing glasses and no toilet roll, not clean, sofa bed not made up.
I would recommend for a couple but not a family.
I select this hotel due to his location, since I was going to a venue in the Acropolis. The location is also 10m walk form the old city, with some shops and a mall just across the street.
When I arrive on Sunday (at 14:00) my room was not yet ready, so I had to wait one hour. The room was large enough, the bed comfortable, and in general very clean. The only thing to mention were some stains on the carpet.
The staff is very friendly, and eager to help and assist you.
The internet is poor, it is hard to register and I did not manage to do a video call with my family using different applications.
The breakfast has a reasonable amount of things to choose from, but it is to avoid to be there at 7:00 AM, when there are large excursions to leave the hotel and the place is crowded.
stayed for 5 nights, during the stay there was no room service offered. The breakfast was extremely limited compared to what I have seen elsewhere and morning after morning some of the few items that where on the buffet were out of stock around 8 am.
Hotel room was big, nice and clean. It was close to centre and we walked everywhere so location was great. Swimming pool area was small, nice and cosy. Just what we needed for a short budgeted weekend trip
