How to Get There
From the moment I arrived, the staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating. My room was comfortable, great, and a perfect location with a view of the beach and ocean. Loved the buffet breakfast. I was within short walking distance of my business appointments, restaurants and shops. Also the bar and bartender were wonderful and a great way to start the evening.
Beautiful garden and sea views, large room with fresh flowers, terrace and jacuzzi. What could go wrong? Everything seemed perfect at arrival but did not last long. The jacuzzu worked only on day 1, then the water was either too hot or too cold. The engineer had numerous trips to repair it, but it did not work. We dared to use it on three of the six days, but it was dangerous to get in given the extreme temperature of the water. After the second day the flowers started rotting but nobody removed or replaced them; we had to take them outside so we can sleep without being disturbed by the stink. Housekeeping sprayed the room with airfreshener, but it could not cover the mouldy smell of the room. So overall, we could have spent half the money for a room with the same view without the broken jacuzzi and rotting flowers and no mouldy smell. We complained about the jacuzzi, but the rest of the issues were obviously known to the staff, but nobody cared. At check out we were told that we could not expect any reimbursement for the poor services??? We are NOT going back to that hotel ever! On the last night housekeeping had left the CD player on next door, after we had mentioned that we were leaving early in the morning to the concierge. How thoughtful to make sure that we have good qualilty sleep before a 14h drive home.
It is certainly an interesting place if you want to demonstrate what bad services look like. We have stayed in many luxury hotels, but never had such a disappointment
Nice big room, super size comfortable bed, polite and service oriented personnel, super location, high quality breakfast, but really over priced. There is good parking opportunity. Also pet friendly so you can visit with your dog.
