We had a bay view room which was lovely by day and night. Check in was easy (using the Bonvoy app), and our room was clean and comfortable. The location is great because you are close to so many things (by car). Having a Starbucks in the lobby is a plus for me. The beds were very comfortable and we didn't hear any neighbor noise. Bathroom was large with separate (large) shower and tub. I enjoyed sitting by the window and watching planes take off from TPA. Parking was a bit tight as the lot is small and spaces even smaller, but they do have valet for their parking garage. Would definitely stay here again.

I was in Tampa on business and decided to spend an extra day at the Westin; and was happy I did! The check-in was quick and I was in my room within 15 minutes of arrival. Since I took an Uber, I didn’t have to worry about parking. I ordered room service for dinner and had a wonderful, perfectly cooked burger and tasty fries. My meal was delivered within 30 minutes and I couldn’t have been more pleased! The room was clean and had a beautiful view of the bay! Plenty of hot water in the large bathroom. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

Probably the worst Westin ever when it comes to the service. It looks like everyone working at the hotel was doing a favor to their guests.

Even to get water I had to call multiple times and remind them.

Can there be anything worst than this hotel? Yes - their restaurant. Don’t even bother going there, and if you do, be ready to wait for an hr for someone to bring the menu.

Terrible service and a room with ants

The waiter is so unfriendly when he explained to me that the Platinum Elite only can have the cold continental breakfast. He could have said it nicely this morning ( March 30) but he was rude and unfriendly.

When we checked in last night at 10:20 pm. There are few ants on the bed and in the bathroom so I called front desk. They said they will send someone upstairs to fix the problem but they did not. We waited for an hour and decided to give up and go to bed. I was going to talk with front desk this morning but they held on hold for more than ten minutes so I gave up to talk to them.

We arrived couple hours late and our $300.00 a night room is still not ready they finally get us a room on the 11th floor when trying to get in we hear somebody in the room say can I help you ? We told him this was our room and he tells us sorry he is just changing a lightbulb, so we walk in and the room literally smelled so bad like wet dirty carpet we could not stand it , so we went back down to get another room and we had to wait another 2 hours in the bar where nobody seemed to care to serve us and when they did it was not pleasant at all.. the next morning we wake up to get breakfast and they make us wait 30 minutes to be seated in a less then half full dining room and again it took forever to even get anybody to take a drink order. Finally we had enough and went up to the front desk to tell them about Our experience and his only compensation was to take the five dollar parking fee off of our bill which we did not even park a car. Never have we been treated like this anywhere and we definitely will never go back and it’s a shame because it’s a good location and if the place was managed properly it would be a nice place.
