How to Get There
The room was clean and the bed was super comfortable. It is basically attached to the International Plaza mall which was great because we didn't have to drive anywhere to eat, drink or shop. We were in town for the Maroon 5 concert and it was an easy drive to the arena and back. Great hotel and great location. And the staff was top notch.
I love this hotel. I always stayed at the Westin but got a recommendation from a colleague of mine to try this place and it was worth it. They have everything you need that most other hotels forget. AVEDA products, tons of places to plug in and charge your electronics, NETFLIX on the tv, liquid creamer and sugar for in room coffee (not the powder!) and an in room fridge. The AC works wonders, it’s quiet, check in easy, club lounge is very nice and a great place to pick up some water or soda to go or a drink. Airport or local office shuttle for free. All of the things that I wish other hotels had, they put it all in one hotel. Best for business travelers and personal. Walking distance to tons of restaurants and the mall. My housekeeper was amazing (Sara). Peppermint tea in the room, nightlight in the bathroom. Just too many things to share. The one thing that is a bit odd if the scratch off reward for GOLD and PLATINUM at check in. Maybe not odd, just different and unique. Everything else is great including the price!!
If you need a place to stay before or after a cruise near the airport look no further! This hotel is just what you maybe looking for.
A lovely hotel with a classy but relaxing atmosphere.
Our room was clean and comfortable. It is the small touches that make it a pleasure. Things like a nice night light in the bathroom, a clock radio that you can dock you phone or listen to relaxing sounds to help you fall asleep. A large TV with access to Netflix, you tube etc.
My only complaint would be that the safe is in the closet basically on the floor...it would have been nicer to have it at eye level...but I guess they wanted to leave more closet space.
The staff was friendly and helpful.
Another plus is it’s location ...a couple of steps and you are at a mall with shopping and many restaurants to choose from. So you don’t need a car.
Would definitely stay here again.
This property is a great option close to the Tampa Airport and very convenient to many local hot spots.
The hotel is a short Uber from the Buc’s stadium, the lightning arena, the cruise terminal and many amazing restaurants!
Connected to International Plaza mall and Bay Street this hotel and many food and entertainment options in a short distance!
The front desk staff is pretty useless and needs training. T****r on the front desk staff is super rude and idiotic. She was the worse of them. This team made me dread my loyalty to Marriott properties. I’m going to see if I can status match back to Hyatt. Marriott is failing on service pretty consistently at this point. Unfortunately I have business in Tampa for the next month and might have to further endure these people. They fail at properly coding keys for guests, getting A La Carte orders right, completing A La Carte orders in a timely manner. They fail miserably at issue resolution as their concession for the calamity of errors was to offer me old, cold and stale food that wasn’t even the complete bag of items that I ordered. I had to travel downstairs over and over and over again for keys that worked for my room. They just could not get that part right. If service is important to you, I do not recommend this hotel.
