Family get together
Reviewed 3 days ago

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Restaurants at location were all excellent. However the room we booked and the room we got was subpar. It needed complete updating. After we brought this to the attention of check in. They did move us.

Continues to exceed expectations.

My husband and I have been going to Hammock Beach resort for ten years. The staff goes above and beyond to be polite and respectful. The spa staff are super polite and always try to accommodate in any way they can. A special shout out to Jonathan and Ralph at the Tiki bar who provide excellent service to members and guests alike. I have never seen them lose their composure even when guests during the busy spring break season, as this week was, are unjustly rude to them.

Fantastic resort

Great resort all around. I travel frequently and have vacationed here several times with my family. Service is always excellent all around. One of the best golf resorts I have ever visited with six holes on ocean. The pool setting is very nice, several different pools with different themes. Tiki bar is among the best I have been to.

The anniversary trip that did not happen
Reviewed 4 days ago

I was supposed to go on an anniversary trip but thinking I was going to golf and have fun. But apparently the reservation system or the person who took the reservation failed and I was told 2 days before the trip that the golf was never booked the cost for the trip was going up from the original quote. i should have known there was an issue when I never got an email confirmation. I am angry since now I have no other recourse for the weekend and will have another trip go down the tube. This reminds me of the mess I had to deal with with Crystal Springs in NJ where they over charged us, gave us the bums rush on the course. I would have thought a resort with such a great reputation would try harder to keep my business but this was not the case. Sorry to say I won't be going there and recommend for others to avoid.

Nice older resort
Reviewed 4 days ago

Upper pool was closed when we where there. Lower pool seemed like a nice kids pool, but in need of some new paint. Older but well taken care of property. No wheelchair access to beach exept from the public access next to the hotel, and that one was clearly for access for golfcarts/atv's, not for wheelchairs, and stopped as soon as it got to the sand. Exept from that good wheelchair access everywhere. Did not try any resturants, as we made our own food. Nice kitchen in unit.
