The Lowdown

Common areas include a billiards lounge, media room, and a bright, welcoming lobby accented with vibrant teal vases and translucent green lamps that channel seaside tranquility. Outside, an L-shaped swimming pool framed by fountains and palms invites an afternoon of lounging. Don’t feel like cooking in your luxe kitchen? Pop into the adjacent Antica Mare for Tuscan specialties like homemade pasta and veal scaloppine.

Across Biscayne Bay from North Miami Beach, you’re 10 minutes from the ocean and just a few miles north of the trendy Wynwood Arts District. This once-industrial neighborhood, reborn as a hub for hipster hangouts and art galleries, hosts an art walk that attracts thousands the second Saturday of every month. Head to Coyo for tacos made from locally sourced veggies and handmade tortillas or KYU for Asian riffs like smoked duck breast burnt ends and Korean fried chicken. Afterwards, sip seasonal craft cocktails at the refined Beaker & Gray or try a Miami-style café con leche martini in the swank, dimly lit Cafeina Lounge.

Spacious apartment with nice bayview but overpriced

The Concierge Yu_Ju was very nice. The view was good. They could provide non-feather bedding. Apartment was spacious, with dishwasher, dishwashing tabs & detergent were provided. but I did not feel the "luxury", I must say.

Highly overpriced with more than 800 dollars for 3 nights.
The building seems to be a mix of residence and hotel-apartments.
We found the "Welcoming Letter" with a list of rules and fees for things one might steal very unwelcoming.
Upon arrival (late at night) an electrical room "refresher" spread a sickening smell: Wayyyyyy toooo much, and those room parfumes are unhealthy (carcenogenic, allergenic). We right away put it on the balcony, opened all doors and windows, but smell had drenched the whole apartment: It came from the AC, therefore we shut it off, it was in towels, bedding. There were only 5 plates, which was unconvenient and meant the dishwasher was merely 1/3 full - not very environmentally friendly. There were only 2 bags of coffee; with 3 nights I would expect 3 bags. Some cups were not clean. In the bathrooms I found soap stains (blue, very easily detectable!) on the sinks - which tells me they didn't clean well. Very uncomfortable feeling! (So I sanitized everything.) The sofa had some weird stains, so did chairs. Hence, 135$ cleaning fee for soap stains, dirty mugs and stained sofa is way too much. I addressed it with concierge but she cut me off after mentioning the soap stains and said she would talk to the cleaning ladies (what's that gonna do for me?) - I think her offer to only make me pay for 2 days parking instead of 3 (which is 15$/day) seemed efficient to her. And I am really tired of these conversations with accommodations.....

nice property but extra fees - be warned

we booked this place for our stay in Miami through booking.com...we thought our total for 3 nights was $350 USD. upon checking in, they showed us that there is actually a $120 USD additional "cleaning fee", plus taxes after that. they stated that these are explained on the booking.com website, but did not see such an addition. The property is nice; it's right next to the boardwalk, has a nice pool and the suite itself had everything we needed- laundry, a/c, nice space, a full kitchen. It is a ways away from South Beach and downtown Miami, and the area around doesn't have much in terms of things to do. We were a bit disappointed with the additional fee and probably wouldn't stay here again. I'd rather have a property be upfront upon booking about their fees, instead of it being hidden.


Watch out for this place. They are a shady business. They will try to scam you out of your money by hitting you with all these extra hidden fees and taxes making your reservation DOUBLE what it is. When I called them out on it and asked to speak to the manager they said he couldn’t talk on the phone because he was “off the clock” yet I was watching the girl text him right in front of me. She was so close I could even read the messages. He was telling her what to say to me!

If you don’t take my advice be careful when you talk to the girl who checks you in, Yu-Ju H, ... and her “manager” Adam B. Terrible customer service. Probably the worst I ever seen, honestly. I never had an experience this bad in my life, and I would give them 0 stars if it were an option.

Hopefully, you won’t stay here, but if you do read what happened to me below so it doesn’t happen to you...

I booked a room online with my credit card. When I got there the girl told me I had to pay more money. That’s when I showed her my confirmation email saying I already paid. So she called her manager and he looked up my account and confirmed that I did already pay.

So I brought all my stuff to my room and unpacked. I ended up in my room for about an hour after I checked in with my confirmation email. That’s when the girl came knocking on my door for the 1st time. (She knocked on my door 3 times altogether in about an hour and a half.) She came to tell me that I didn’t pay and that they were going to have to charge me an insane amount of money. Double what my confirmation email said.

When I told her I am not giving them anymore money because I paid already they told me they would be kicking me out for not paying the extra hidden fees. So I said no problem I’ll leave I’m not paying any more money.

When I went back to the room to gather my stuff and find a new hotel, she knocked on my door two more times to rush me out. Long story short, I ended up getting my money back and leaving after a few hours for a different hotel in south beach.

Before I left I made sure I had them write out a statement and sign it saying that I did not stay. This was to ensure that they didn’t try to hit me with any penalties or more hidden fees. I don’t trust them. Shady, sketchy, deceitful business. Buyer beware.
