You’ll feel right at home in one of these one- or two-bedroom apartments—if, that is, your home is an immaculately kept sanctuary with sweeping views of Biscayne Bay. Each unit features a full kitchen outfitted with stainless steel appliances, stone countertops, and dark wood accents, while living room sofa beds provide room enough to sleep up to six people. Common areas include a billiards lounge, media room, and a bright, welcoming lobby accented with vibrant teal vases and translucent green lamps that channel seaside tranquility. Outside, an L-shaped swimming pool framed by fountains and palms invites an afternoon of lounging. Don’t feel like cooking in your luxe kitchen? Pop into the adjacent Antica Mare for Tuscan specialties like homemade pasta and veal scaloppine.
In the Area
Across Biscayne Bay from North Miami Beach, you’re 10 minutes from the ocean and just a few miles north of the trendy Wynwood Arts District. This once-industrial neighborhood, reborn as a hub for hipster hangouts and art galleries, hosts an art walk that attracts thousands the second Saturday of every month. Head to Coyo for tacos made from locally sourced veggies and handmade tortillas or KYU for Asian riffs like smoked duck breast burnt ends and Korean fried chicken. Afterwards, sip seasonal craft cocktails at the refined Beaker & Gray or try a Miami-style café con leche martini in the swank, dimly lit Cafeina Lounge.
How to Get There
Watch out for this place. They are a shady business. They will try to scam you out of your money by hitting you with all these extra hidden fees and taxes making your reservation DOUBLE what it is. When I called them out on it and asked to speak to the manager they said he couldn’t talk on the phone because he was “off the clock” yet I was watching the girl text him right in front of me. She was so close I could even read the messages. He was telling her what to say to me!
If you don’t take my advice be careful when you talk to the girl who checks you in, Yu-Ju H, ... and her “manager” Adam B. Terrible customer service. Probably the worst I ever seen, honestly. I never had an experience this bad in my life, and I would give them 0 stars if it were an option.
Hopefully, you won’t stay here, but if you do read what happened to me below so it doesn’t happen to you...
I booked a room online with my credit card. When I got there the girl told me I had to pay more money. That’s when I showed her my confirmation email saying I already paid. So she called her manager and he looked up my account and confirmed that I did already pay.
So I brought all my stuff to my room and unpacked. I ended up in my room for about an hour after I checked in with my confirmation email. That’s when the girl came knocking on my door for the 1st time. (She knocked on my door 3 times altogether in about an hour and a half.) She came to tell me that I didn’t pay and that they were going to have to charge me an insane amount of money. Double what my confirmation email said.
When I told her I am not giving them anymore money because I paid already they told me they would be kicking me out for not paying the extra hidden fees. So I said no problem I’ll leave I’m not paying any more money.
When I went back to the room to gather my stuff and find a new hotel, she knocked on my door two more times to rush me out. Long story short, I ended up getting my money back and leaving after a few hours for a different hotel in south beach.
Before I left I made sure I had them write out a statement and sign it saying that I did not stay. This was to ensure that they didn’t try to hit me with any penalties or more hidden fees. I don’t trust them. Shady, sketchy, deceitful business. Buyer beware.
Rented a two bedroom apartment for my 50th birthday with 6 other friends. When we first walked in, we were ecstatic...a beautiful apartment with a beautiful view. That's where it stopped.
They provided us with four bath towels only and they told us they wouldn't have more bath towels or swimming pool towels until 11:00 am the next morning. I returned at 11:00 am and they were washing laundry in a small washer and dryer in their little office and said it would be another 4-5 hours until they would be available. They were done at 4pm (24 hours after check in).
In one of the bathrooms, after flushing the toilet, this brown horribly smelling liquid came up through the floorboards. Not sure if it was sewage waste or stagnant water collecting for awhile. The only staff member that first night was a young girl who said there was no one on site to help with either the leaking floor or the lack of towels and she required my help with putting a cover on a comforter that we needed for the pull out couch because they provided no blankets for it.
The next morning, an employee showed up to check the floor. He was in the bathroom for all of 5 minutes and said in his few words of English, that it was fixed. Not sure what he put over the floor, but he did not suck up all of that disgusting liquid. I wonder how much mold is growing in the floor boards and in the walls?!
That second night, we returned from my birthday dinner around 11:30 pm to find the air conditioner showing a service system error message and the apartment hot and musty. We called the 24/7 number they provided us on check in and they never answered the call. We continued to call and text for hours with no response. We continued to adjust the thermostat with no luck. Then around 4 am, the system kicked back on itself and the temperature came down to around 75 degrees. When they finally showed up at 10:00 am the next morning as we were gathering our things for check out.
As we checked out, I told the manager how unhappy we were with the stay and he said, "Okay, well that's too bad." He gave us no discount on the room for all of our inconveniences. I would not recommend this apartment to anyone. These people are scammers, and only out to take your money.
The Staff was really fast in handing over the keys. The place was very clean and relaxing. All with a great price! Thanks Ms Yuju and Pablo. Thanks again. And im looking foward to my next stay. It not to many places that exist like this.
These people are scammers.. I booked a bay view in the main building they instead put me in a supposed new building across the street which was basically empty...no security, no locks on external doors, no front desk or personnel in this building at all.
My view was a construction zone. I had to keep all blinds drawn which kept the place dark because there was a crew of construction workers directly across the street that could see into the place. Once they add in the hidden fees that they had several angry people in the office about, you are paying more than you would for an oceanfront room on South Beach. I never even saw the pool. My building was simply too far to safely walk to it. This entire stay was a disaster and ruined my trip. I ended up staying at a hotel on South Beach with friends because the unsecured empty building was just not feeling safe. Save yourself the grief and the extra money. Book with a reputable hotel chain and spend the money to actually have a view. Also, this is not a hotel...there is no reservation desk, concierge, or assistance. The 24 hour line they give you to call is one that will never be answered. This area is under heavy construction and pretty much in an abandoned empty area.
The good: good sized one bedroom condo with kitchen. Nice pool outside the lobby.
The bad: This is really an air bnb apartment but managed by a property management company. We were also charged $12o mandatory fee for the stay. It turned out that is cleaning fee so be prepared. The apartment needs some cosmetic maintenance. Toilet flush doesn't work properly. Bath tub looks old. Bedroom and bathroom walls look dirty probably from over use.
The ugly: We were originally assigned a room with ocean view but the management company changed our room to city view because the former was not ready at the time of check out. Since we pre-paid the rooms there is no compensation.
