This 65-room boutique property is an oasis in the bustling Brickell neighborhood. The biggest highlight: its inviting pool deck, encircled by lush landscaping, a cozy fire circle, and dreamy poolside cabanas. It’s worth the small upcharge for a room overlooking the scene. Other hotel perks include free daily breakfast at the lounge bar, a private balcony or lanai in every room, free WiFi, and an expertly curated collection of art pieces by local talents scattered throughout the hotel’s common areas and guest rooms. See one you like? Chances are it’s for sale. Grab a quick bite at the bright Bistro Urbano Restaurant & Bar, or venture to one of the many surrounding eateries for a more memorable meal.
In the Area
At the southern end of the Brickell neighborhood, you’re just across the bridge from the Miami Seaquarium, where you can shake hands with a dolphin and swim with the seals. Another bridge further and you’re on Key Biscayne, known for some of the area’s best beaches; Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park boasts a mile of sandy oceanfront deemed one of the nicest in the nation, plus a historic lighthouse that’s open to tours. Back on the mainland, refuel on authentic Cuban cuisine at Havana 1957, or sample sushi and wood-fired Uruguayan specialties at Quinto La Huella in the new Brickell City Centre development.
How to Get There
Booked 3 nights here, with a pool side room. After 7 hour drive discovered on arrival that pool shut due to renovations and substantial amount of buildind work going on. We were not told of this when we booked.Hotel was a tip and totally misrepresented in advertising.
The pictures are deceiving and it was failed to mention they are under serious construction. Tried to look past it but didn’t last more than 10 mins before we walked out the door with our bags due to stained blankets and dirty sheets.
The hotel stay itself was fine despite the renovations going on. It has been the experience after checking out that has ruined everything and I will never return here. They steal your money! They charged my account two days after I checked out with a $30 parking fee (I did not use their valet). It’s been 2.5 weeks and they are not refunding me for my incidentals (I left the room the way it was given to me). The manager is never on the premesis and does not return calls. The front desk lady is extremely rude and cuts you off when you call on the phone. They steal your money, save yourself the head ache and find elsewhere to stay.
They are under construction. They did not advise us nor is it on there website. There is dust everywhere. Our pool view room is a view of scaffolding work. I dont care, if you your facility is under construction, but they should advise there client. Now we are stuck here for 7 days to listen to workers work.
I visited Miami with my 2 teenage daughters and was a little scared before we went because I wasn’t sure about driving over there. But was not need. This hotel is right next to a free shuttle bus that takes you right into the heart of it, running frequently. The hotel was amazing and the staff really pleasant. We were advised not to stay out late on a night and followed this rule and we had the best holiday ever. There was plenty to do, shops, beaches, restaurants, boat rides. We did quite a lot in 2 weeks. We took a boat ride around millionaires houses which was fantastic! Visited Miami Seaquarium where the killer whale show was amazing! Took a bus ride to one of the shopping outlets - the bus ride as over an hour long but well worth it. Went on a tour to see the Everglades by Airboat - amazing to see the alligators close up. Went on a tour bus ride of Miami and it’s well worth the money - you get to see some great little stop offs. Managed to walk on Miami’s famous beach. This was a fantastic holiday and one we talk about constantly.
