This 65-room boutique property is an oasis in the bustling Brickell neighborhood. The biggest highlight: its inviting pool deck, encircled by lush landscaping, a cozy fire circle, and dreamy poolside cabanas. It’s worth the small upcharge for a room overlooking the scene. Other hotel perks include free daily breakfast at the lounge bar, a private balcony or lanai in every room, free WiFi, and an expertly curated collection of art pieces by local talents scattered throughout the hotel’s common areas and guest rooms. See one you like? Chances are it’s for sale. Grab a quick bite at the bright Bistro Urbano Restaurant & Bar, or venture to one of the many surrounding eateries for a more memorable meal.
In the Area
At the southern end of the Brickell neighborhood, you’re just across the bridge from the Miami Seaquarium, where you can shake hands with a dolphin and swim with the seals. Another bridge further and you’re on Key Biscayne, known for some of the area’s best beaches; Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park boasts a mile of sandy oceanfront deemed one of the nicest in the nation, plus a historic lighthouse that’s open to tours. Back on the mainland, refuel on authentic Cuban cuisine at Havana 1957, or sample sushi and wood-fired Uruguayan specialties at Quinto La Huella in the new Brickell City Centre development.
How to Get There
One of the best Hilton Garden Inns that I have stayed at. The rooms are clean and spacious. Customer service is excellent. The design and furniture comfortable. The only down side is the out door pool. It’s only 3 1/2 feet deep and very small. But it’s a very nice pool area. This is a good choice for work or vacation. With or without kids as well.
Apparently. There was a main line water hit. I return from a long day out in the sun only to return after getting wet and sweaty from being out all day. I return to my room at 930to shower. There wasn't any water available in my room. I couldn't tell if anyone else was having the same promblem. The hotel staff which was a Caucasian guy at the desk on a Monday night 11/12. I spoke to him about the concerns I have at that time it was almost 10:10 when I was able to talk to someone face to face while was the Caucasian guy at the desk . I asked him what will be the backup plan since nobody bother to contact me prior to this happening. He only said to wait it out until the water comes back on in full force. He wasn't sure about the time it will the water return because he said they fixed it but never said what time it was fixed prior to me returning. Then I asked to speak to the manager. He said the manager just left. I asked can he call the manager because i want to know what will happen for a customer like myself who's looking to get cleaned and not having to wait all night to see if the water will return. The hotel guy got a little snappy with me because I wanted to know how will they support a customer like myself who's paid already. I also asked to email the manager, since he claims the manager can't be reached at this time of night because he said the manager just left before I arrived back from my trip which was 930. The guy at the desk took down my email.he told me he would be cc me on the email along with the manager because I wanted to know what will or how will this business will support the customer without water for the night. I never got an email. He never reached out to the manager through email nor cc me on the email. The next morning I came downstairs to ask for the manager at 830am. No manger on staff. This time it was a new face at the desk because they must have switched shifts already. I told the african American lady about my concerns and what took place with the guy who was at the desk last night .I wanted to speak to him but she said he had already gone. Still no manager she said maybe the manager will be here after 3pm and I didn't get a phone call after leaving my cellphone with the new lady who came in after they switched shifts. Today is 11/15 still nobody reached out to me. I'm very disappointed the lack of professionalism in a expensive place that I paid for upfront. I won't be returning and I will continue to complain and also reach out to corporatration which is hilron gardens since they were switching over
And doing repairs
We recently stayed here while visiting Florida. Staff was really nice, even offered to pay for an Uber if we would pay them back in cash. They have a free Breakfast every morning which is your regular food like Cereal, toast, eggs, etc.
Rooms were spacious however extremely dirty. Carpets were stained with dirt or whatever it was. It was really humid inside the rooms.
Location is great however, if you exit the hotel, turn left on foot and start walking on Brickell Avenue and you’ll eventually make it to downtown Miami.
We stayed in this hotel 2 nights in august 2018, and we really enjoyed our stay there ; the rooms are completely refitted, very comfortable and quiet.
Even if the hotel is under renovation, we found no trouble at all, we were in 3rd floor, and they are working on 2nd floor, but no noise and you only workers once or twice a day, but no matter for us.
The furniture around the swimming pool is completely new and comfy, we enjoyed it and the swimming pool is really warm.
The staff is friendly and helpfull, helped us with all our questions
The breakfast was ok for us, you can prepare waffles, there are fruits and but it's not as large as in Best Western for example
The hotel is well situated and the free trolly that goes to financial district miami passes just in front of the hotel, which is very convenient.
We really enjoyed our stay there, and it was difficult to change for the BW in Fort Lauderdale for our last 2 days (even if it is clean, the rooms were old and not as comfortable...)
Although the stay was ok the hotel was undergoing renovation and half the facilities were not open - also I had to pay a “refundable “ deposit of $50 which they refuse to give back to me which is very disappointing.
