Urban retreat with a pleasing pool and informal local art gallery

The Lowdown

This 65-room boutique property is an oasis in the bustling Brickell neighborhood. The biggest highlight: its inviting pool deck, encircled by lush landscaping, a cozy fire circle, and dreamy poolside cabanas. It’s worth the small upcharge for a room overlooking the scene. Other hotel perks include free daily breakfast at the lounge bar, a private balcony or lanai in every room, free WiFi, and an expertly curated collection of art pieces by local talents scattered throughout the hotel’s common areas and guest rooms. See one you like? Chances are it’s for sale. Grab a quick bite at the bright Bistro Urbano Restaurant & Bar, or venture to one of the many surrounding eateries for a more memorable meal.

In the Area

At the southern end of the Brickell neighborhood, you’re just across the bridge from the Miami Seaquarium, where you can shake hands with a dolphin and swim with the seals. Another bridge further and you’re on Key Biscayne, known for some of the area’s best beaches; Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park boasts a mile of sandy oceanfront deemed one of the nicest in the nation, plus a historic lighthouse that’s open to tours. Back on the mainland, refuel on authentic Cuban cuisine at Havana 1957, or sample sushi and wood-fired Uruguayan specialties at Quinto La Huella in the new Brickell City Centre development.

Reviews for this hotel were largely from prior ownership. The property has been substantially been remodeled.

The restaurant and bar are still well below the quality seen in new HGI properties. Rooms were clean with basic furniture.

Great hotel!

Great stay here. Christopher Salomon really elevated my experience at the hotel and will recommend this hotel because of him. Excellent hotel and great night life around it. Will be sure to come back on my next vacation.

Warm small hotel full of great attentions and kind staff!

I was staying at the Hilton Garden from January 24th until January 30th to attend the Miami Fitbit Marathon 2019.

Hotel with easy and practical facilities, remodeled two months ago, centric in the Brickell area, near to the best shopping centers, excellent restaurants, commercial banks, pharmacies and great neighborhood friendly and good staff.

There was a small problem and was the cleanliness of our room, which was poor due to the lack of employees in this department, and the hotel was full and the employees were not enough for so many clients. This was explained to us by management and they compensated us by offering dinner for the four of us at no cost at all.
In the restaurant we were attended by Mr. Leandro, who was extremely kind too.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Brickell was like a second home. They were all very friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end.
I hope this hotel can have soon all its employees.

Definitely a place to return!

recently remodeled botique hotel - changed to a Hilton

The newly remodeled rooms are clean, very dark for sleeping purposes and decently equipped.

The staff was very friendly and Christopher (Front Desk) went out of his way to assist us.

The evening service in the restaurant and bar is limited; the breakfast service / buffet is excellent.

We experienced issues with the shuttle service to Port of Miami -- late and then the driver wanted to charge us for the trip BUT -- Christopher handled it without furtu=her issues.
