How to Get There
This was not our first choice, but proved to be a great spot to stay. Very knowledgeable concierge and staff. Well appointed room with great bed. Hotel pool deck, while fairly small was well appointed and offered good food service.
I fell in love with the Hotel Colonade immediately. I love architecture and this hotel did not disappoint. The moment you enter the lobby you’re greeted by the vast open views, Greek columns and splendid pink marble floors. The restaurant has exquisite placing of furniture and friendly staff. The marble stairs are very impressive. The rooms I found to be quite comfortable and had a contemporary feel and look in contrast to the Victorian style of the hotel. The hotel has bikes for riding around and concierge service. It’s located in an area that has several restaurants and lots of things to do. It one block from the miracle mile ( shops, restaurants etc). I had a great time both riding and walking after work. There were many more features that I don’t have room to describe. I would definitely rethink property.
I thought this hotel was beautiful and clean in a really great location
. What I did not like was that the parking was not included. It was 26.00 for overnight and it cost more than $30.00 if you wanted to use the car during the day. Breakfast was also not included. For almost $200.00 a night I feel these two things should be included
The room was perfect with a sitting area, a very comfortable bed , clean bathroom nice TV and internet . The pool area was beautiful and there was also a game room and a gym. I highly recommend this hotel and would stay again
The Colonnade is a classic Miami hotel, and for good reason. Their grand master staircase, marble walls and floors and floor to ceiling columns make you look up in wonder as you walk in. Our room was clean, spacious, and aesthetically pleasing, and we had doors that opened up right onto the outside terrace/pool area which was also a great treat. A great spot to curl up in with a book or enjoy a glass of wine. The service was also great, the girl at the front desk who greeted us was friendly and always helpful. The hotel itself is situated right in the heart of Miracle Mile, centrally located with several great restaurants and lounges within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and also to future brides! They were setting up for a wedding one of the nights we were there and everything looked absolutely gorgeous!
This imposing building is beautiful and the hotel architecture is great. Sadly there is still reminders that this was a Westin hotel, especially where they haven’t bothered to refurbish some bathrooms and fixtures.
The loft suite I was in was just laid out in a really weird way which made using upstairs redundant.
The bed was comfy and linen was nice. I enjoyed the location and being able to explore Miami relatively easily.
For $60 room service wasn’t great. The food was tasty but small portions, served in plastic and cardboard and just like a picnic. I expect more at a full service hotel.
Check out was basic, the receptionist seemed distracted and bored and was not interested in my stay or onward journey.
Great location, underwhelming service.
