Right in the heart of Miami’s bustling business district, the Conrad Miami perches directly on Biscayne Bay. Local produce and sustainably sourced fish lend a fresh flavor to the global eats at minimalist-chic Atrio, and floor-to-ceiling views compete for attention with the creative cocktails and small plates at the 25th-floor bar. On-site personal training, rooftop pool swimming and sky-high, flood-lit tennis matches make staying in shape irresistible, even on vacation. Techno-savvy rooms include bedside remotes to control everything from the lighting to the temperature. The muted palette of cream, chocolate and sea-blue keep the focus on the dramatic city and bay views.
In the Area
Miami’s trendy downtown Brickell neighborhood has quite a few waterside diversions. Grab speakeasy-style cocktails at Blackbird Ordinary or party at Brit pub–inspired haute hotspot The Hoxton. Catch the Miami Heat playing in their own kingdom, AmericanAirlines Arena, just a few minutes away. Or get your dose of culture at the nearby Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. The party scene and Art Deco architecture of South Beach are just a 15-minute drive away.
How to Get There
First stay in Miami downtown hotel! Great location and service!! Special thanks for concierge Hana for making it easy and giving my us directions for awesome places and activities around!great location for romantic getaway!
I visited the Conrad for the first time with a few of my friends for a cousins wedding down in Coconut Grove. Overall I would just like to say that this was a great experience, however, there were a few minor problems such as the carpets in the hallways and the pool being outdated, as well as the elevators being a little bit confusing. From the beginning to the end of our stay the staff was very friendly and helpful. Jonathan at the front desk helped us check in, in a quick and timely manner. Another reason why we love this hotel is that so many great restaurants surround it, we eat at PM steakhouse to the recommendation of the wonderful and energetic concierge Hana, she arranged the reservation and told us where to go for breakfast (which was amazing at Balans) the next morning. If we need to stay in the Brickell area again Conrad Miami will be our first choice.
Do not use the concierge service.
Anna is incompetent and has no business in being in hospitality. She made a reservation to the company that was offering her the most commission instead of going with the best one.
A word of advice, organize your activities yourself.
This hotel is advertised as an upscale hotel, but it’s more like an apartment in an upscale building. The lobby is on the 25th floor. You then need to go up or down the elevator again to find your room. To go to the pool you need to take THREE elevators and cross the street. They give you champagne when you check in which is a nice touch. The rooms are not bad even with city view but there are no ice machines. That could be an issue if your wanting to make drinks. The location is very convenient to bars and shops but there are better hotels for the price in Brickell
Enjoyed the facilities at the Hotel. Room was excellent cannot fault.
However we arrived on a late flight from NZ, got to Hotel 1am then experienced a fire alarm as we were getting ready to hit the bed, not impressed as we were so tired. Bed was very comfortable.
Next morning we had a pre arranged tour early. The conceige couldn’t find us a map of the area of Brickell. Learnt about the metro mover situated across the road from the Hotel after we got a taxi over to Miami Beach to catch our tour bus.
During the weekend very few restaurants open near the hotel itself. The breakfast at the hotel was very good however.View from the reception area of the sea is great.
