Right in the heart of Miami’s bustling business district, the Conrad Miami perches directly on Biscayne Bay. Local produce and sustainably sourced fish lend a fresh flavor to the global eats at minimalist-chic Atrio, and floor-to-ceiling views compete for attention with the creative cocktails and small plates at the 25th-floor bar. On-site personal training, rooftop pool swimming and sky-high, flood-lit tennis matches make staying in shape irresistible, even on vacation. Techno-savvy rooms include bedside remotes to control everything from the lighting to the temperature. The muted palette of cream, chocolate and sea-blue keep the focus on the dramatic city and bay views.
In the Area
Miami’s trendy downtown Brickell neighborhood has quite a few waterside diversions. Grab speakeasy-style cocktails at Blackbird Ordinary or party at Brit pub–inspired haute hotspot The Hoxton. Catch the Miami Heat playing in their own kingdom, AmericanAirlines Arena, just a few minutes away. Or get your dose of culture at the nearby Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. The party scene and Art Deco architecture of South Beach are just a 15-minute drive away.
How to Get There
First time staying the Conrad. The front desk when we arrived were very friendly and helpful and at the end of our check in process, a little champagne.
The rooms were clean and the bed was very comfortable. You have your own coffee/espresso maker in the room.
There’s a nice soaking tub as well.
The pool was great but you need to walk across the ground floor and take a separate elevator.
Also, some Lyfts and Uber had trouble finding the hotel because it’s between 13th and 14th vs really being on Bickell.
It’s pretty close to most areas (less than20 minutes any way) and the cost is under $15 to take Lyfts or Uber.
Overall I’d stay here again
Best part of this hotel is the location. It's at the center of the dining & shopping area where you want to be. The rooms are very small and not recommended for families or more than 2 people. Location is key since it's close enough to the beach without being on the peninsula where traffic is really bad. Hotel has a fabulous view of the bay and the onsite restaurant serves a wonderful breakfast
Our recent stay at the Conrad Miami was an unparalleled experience in many respects. The Conrad Miami is a beautiful, well kept, well maintained property with gorgeous views and an ideal location, however, those attributes pale in comparison to the genuine and sincere world class service we received from the entire staff. Our experience began two days prior when I received a personalized email from Brian E. and Noelia V. verifying when I would be arriving (to ensure our room would be ready) and inquiring what they could do to ensure we had a memorable visit (who does that??). I did share with Brian that we were in town to celebrate my son's 10th Birthday...well apparently that's all he needed to hear; from the moment we arrived we were literally treated like royalty...at one point during the visit my son asked, "Dad are we celebrities?"
We also had the distinct privilege of meeting one the most professional kindest, sincerest individuals I've ever encountered, Front Desk Ambassador, Joshua H. It was obvious that every interaction we had was an opportunity for Joshua to ensure we were enjoying our stay....thank you Joshua!!
Lastly, Edwin and Stefano in LvL 25 we amazing….and they were very gracious with my (crazy) kids…..again just a level of sincerity and warmth that you rarely see these days in the hospitality industry.
We'll be back soon!!!
The Miami Conrad is your typical “convention” hotel. Rooms are unremarkable and the lobby is fairly unremarkable as well, located on the 25th floor. Somewhat odd. This hotel is so chain-like, one could easily be staying anywhere in the US, never getting a true Miami feel. For a genuine Miami experience, a boutique hotel like the Betsy on Ocean Drive is a better choice.
But the staff are remarkable. The valet John Lozano is an excellent staff member who truly welcomed us like family and even offered tips on restaurants with “best times” to eat. Front desk staff Valerie stood out as one who seemed eager to make our stay excellent. Congrats to the Miami Conrad for making a predictable chain hotel special, all because of special employees.
Having to use 3 different elevator banks to get to pool from your room is awful and a time waste. Same with getting to your room, 2 different elevator banks plus the alarms were going off all weekend, not fun. Stay elsewhere for convenience.
