How to Get There
Great hotel location with friendly staff. Came for a quick weekend away and really enjoyed exploring the area and making the Marriott our base. A huge thank you to Ryan Robles in the Valet that found out it was my birthday and surprised me with sparkling wine and a chocolate cake! We will definitely be back!
Stayed here after I landed from a red eye. Large rooms, great poolside service and the food at the restaurant was the best I had all week! Blackened grouper! Mango margaritas by the pool=vacay all day!
Stayed for a short 2-night visit. This was a return trip, so we were familiar with the property. This time however, we stayed in a suite in the tower by the pool. Though the resort was busy, it was not crazy. Tail end of spring break, more younger than older children with parents. Had a great suite on the 8th floor overlooking the water, which yielded a fantastic sunset both evenings. Food on site is good, service very good.
There is no reason to go anywhere else! Wonderful rooms with a beautiful view of the Harbor. 2 great pools with a bar. Beach like lounging. water sports. They have an amazing spa and a world class restaurant on site!!!! My family was very pleased and we will be back again for sure !!!!!!
The last 21 days of March 2019 my wife and I spent some 21 terrific days in Italy ( Milan, Verona, Siena, Salerno & Rome). In all of our travels, we book our hotels with the "breakfast included" modality.
In each and every Hotel -small chains- that we stayed in Italy, we had an excellent variety and quality of breakfast food served in nice china and crystal ware. ( In these coming weeks we'll review each and every one of the cities and hotels we stayed this past month in Italy ) , but for now, we just want to make a brief comment/comparison between the small chain hotels we stayed in Italy vs. the big chain hotels like Marriott U.S.
This past February 2019 we stayed at one of MARRIOTT's satellite Hotels in Fort Myers, Fl., where we had the most awful experience not only with the rooms and service but also with the terrible junk food breakfast served in carton plates and plastic cups.
We know Marriott's executives are all over the world buying hotels so they can expand their market share worldwide, thereby monopolizing the industry. This might be OK - business wise - but should not be done to the detriment ( price, quality, and service ) of the regular unsuspected traveler.
