Nice hotel!!!!

Hotel is gorgeous. Stayed here 1 night pre-cruise. Rented a cabana by the pool which was great. Shrimp Tacos are to die for! Yum! For the most part the staff was great. Front desk check in staff wasn’t overly pleasant. Otherwise great stay!

Best dirty martini ever by Sean. Company was great. Maureen is the best. Go to point royal, it’s right next door and the ambiance is great there too! Love the diplomat! Cool night with great weather but better people

Great Resort.

Stayed here for 5 nights for a conference, can’t fault it. Rooms large, great views, either ocean or city. Pool areas and beach both incredible. Restaurants and bars great too. Service was excellent throughout. Would pay out myself when returning.

It could be a perfect stay

Parking extraordinary expensive!
And you cannot bring a own bottle of water or a sandwich to the pool.
And this is like a dark cloud above paradis.
The rooms are wonderful, the bedding is comfortable, the view spectacular, the poosl and beach are great.

So: everything is expensive, so self parking should be complimentary. And the pool rule is ridiculous!
I hope they will change it!

Beautiful property but very pricey

Long weekend away at this hotel. It was at capacity with several corporate events. We had an oceanfront room ; beautiful view but the room was small. The poolside menu was overpriced. $37 for two drinks including service fee and tax. The service was fine, but we opted to eat elsewhere. We went to Walmart for wine and snacks. Many people walking by with Walmart bags so we weren't the only ones who tired of the prices. This would be a great property to attend a conference but I can't imagine paying for this resort again. Agree with previous post; the $30 resort fee included things that the staff could not confirm. You have to make sure you aren't being charged for beach chairs. Also, location not great if you plan on using Uber or walking to everything. Lots of high rises and construction
