How to Get There
This is a great hotel for not only overnight stays but meetings as well. Well updated style inside and outside the rooms. Very spacious rooms as well and a great view of the city from the upper floors. Can't recommend the cafe but the seafood restaurant is excellent and the bar across the street is also nice. Workout room is amazing in size and machines.
Have stayed here many times before and after a cruise. Staff is extremely helpful, bends over backwards to accomodate. Beautiful location between Los Olas street, and the new river with its beautiful boats. Prefer the rooms in the new tower. New Boathouse resteraunt is really great. Will be back again many times.
We loved this hotel. Having never visiting Ft Lauderdale before, and not having a car rental, this was a perfect location for us. We walked, we saw, and we enjoyed. Sitting and watching the Sunday afternoon traffic on the New River was a hoot. The hotel is a landmark because of the history, but it is wonderful.
I planned and held our 30th high school reunion here. What a great time we had. The food was outstanding and the service staff a pleasure to work with!
Jacob Houser is the best catering manager that I have ever worked with! His help, recommendations and knowledge really helped us enjoy our time together! The terrace was sublime and the views of the city, the water and the beautiful terrace made the night more special. Every person had the party inside or conversation outside! Great job Riverside Hotel!!
This hotel is 4 stars, and well deserved. The lobby is beautiful, with live piano music on Saturday night, an nice patio area, very nice rooms with HDTV, clean and big enough bathrooms, and bed area. The service was excellent and friendly, with check-in very prompt and automated checkout (bill delivered last night under the door), so no check-out at all. And all at a reasonable price. Very close to lots of great eating and shopping.
