Not off the charts

The food is okay. The grounds are most likely better during the daylight hours. Caution getting out of the car in heels, the drive definitely needs some care even with valet parking. Service is excellent. Got bit by ants or something... Maybe experience would be better outside of the holiday season.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER RELATIONS
Reviewed 1 month ago

I have an email confirming our stay this December and I learned that the confirmation they sent me back in January means nothing at all, They have jacked up their price $445 for our stay and could not comprehend that we have a confirmation letter from THEIR Establishment stating otherwise. It's the holidays now, so the prices are higher. End of Story. No Help. Nothing. They're sorry??? COLEEN CALLS HERSELF A MANAGER??? Start off with managing your customers!!! You CONFIRM one price for our stay, and change it to another. What if I didn't call 5 weeks before we were due to arrive? I have had this confirmation for the past 11 months! WE HAVE CANCELLED OUR RESERVATION - and will be Happily moving to the Marriott down the street. SHAME ON YOU COLEEN. Customer Satisfaction?? Not here!!

Live in a Botanical Garden

Our room was upstairs and overlooked the pool and gardens. Our patio was the perfect spot for coffee muffins and fruit in the morning, compliments of the staff. We loved the bed and the unique decor in each room. Hope to come again.

BRIDAL SHOWER SPOT.

This restaurant was so quaint and adorable. I loved everything about it- the food, the atmosphere, the location. We had a small bridal shower here and sat outside in the cutest gazebo overlooking the gardens. The food was delicious and fresh and more reasonably priced than I had expected. If you are looking for atmosphere please look no further. We were surprised to see that the location also had the sweetest hotel connected to it. A must stay. I would suggest reservations because it does fill quickly. Be prepared to pay for valet because there are only a free free spots across the street. Enjoy.

Most beautiful setting for a Sunday Brunch!
Reviewed 2 months ago

We were guests for Sunday Brunch. Not having any idea what to expect we were blown away by the absolutely beautiful setting. This is an old Florida house, set up as a hotel & restaurant, that has a fabulous tropical garden with a pond & small stream. Dotted through out this settings are gazebos & beautifully set tables. There is a wide assortment of choices for the brunch from breakfast foods to a carving table to a cold seafood bar. The shrimp, oysters & crab legs were good. The Thai calamari, a tuna sushi was excellent. The food that was made fresh - like the crepes were excellent. The small pastries for dessert were very good, the little lemon meringue tarts & the mini chocolate cupcakes were the favorites. We were fortunate that we had a good waitress & given our table was in a secluded spot we were well served. We had a great time because we were with great people & we all appreciated the beautiful ambiance in which we dining.
