How to Get There
This hotel is in a great location and has wonderful views of the ocean. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff member who processed our check in was professional, friendly, and very helpful. I would recommend it to anyone looking a place to stay right off the beach. The over all experience was worth the money.
The front staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was super clean. The room they gave us was beautiful and had an amazing ocean view. The brunch had many options and it was delicious. Had a great time.
I am a Hilton fan so we chose this hotel to stay and rest on our way to southern Florida. This is one of the best Hiltons I have stayed at. The hotel is updated, modern, clean and has a very friendly staff. The only downside we had was our waitress at breakfast the next morning. She didn't seem to have much interest in being there and disappeared. We had to get up and ask for our check. The hotel is right on the beach but if you are expecting a balcony you will be disappointed - no balconies anywhere. Overall, a great Hilton.
business travelers do not stay here. the hotel hosts conventions and events at all times of year and all days of the week. the hotel does not prevent guests from causing disruption and partying all night. if you are in Daytona for any reason other than to party, do not stay here. you will not sleep. terrible.
We stayed at this hotel several times when we visit our son at Embry RIddle Univ. in DB and we couldn't be happier. The rooms are very clean, the staff is great, the Sunday brunch is excellent for variety and freshness and the regular menu breakfast is good during the week too. You have direct access to the beach, arcade and the roller coaster from the hotel, which is fun if you have kids. There is valet parking, which is a plus because it is hard to park near the beach in this part of town. The pool is nice, but can sometimes get a bit crowded (hard to find seats) depending on what is going on over the weekend at the nearby convention center. Its only a five to seven minute drive to ERAU from the hotel, and close to many restaurants. As Diamond Hilton members we have always gotten upgraded to a full ocean view, which I love, and we get free breakfast coupons. I recently learned also that they have special rates for ERAU students and parents, so tell them if you are visiting your kid at ERAU and you may get a discount. Overall, a very good choice to stay to visit your kid in college, get in some beach or pool time, and to be nearby the school and other attractions. We have no need/desire to go anywhere else. . Last time we visited the Kennedy Space Center and it should be a definite "to do" item on any ERAU student/parent trip. The tour and exhibits were informative and awesome.
