How to Get There
Super clean hotel, soft comfy bed, welcoming, surprised to see a 65inch tv in my room. We had 2 balconies on the 15th floor. Kinda cold outside but the views were still amazing. Would highly recommend!
We have been here quite a few times and LOVED it. This time, the actual room (king suite, gulf view), was a little odd. The room itself was REALLY big, but with a large area of open space. We called once we were in the room and inquired about it. They said they had just remodeled and were waiting on dining room table. He said we could go to another room, but all were the same??? I feel like we should have received a discount or at least have been told this when we checked in. The bed, sheets and pillows were perfect, as usual. The only other issue was we had to always ask for the valet person, never were they around when we were coming or leaving. Not a huge deal, but just different than the other times we have visited. The staff in the restaurant and bar were absolutely WONDERFUL!!! All in all good, but we felt like it was a little bit less than our previous visits.
This was the best business trip I have attended in years (and my wife agrees). The property is exceptional. From check-in to a magnificent room on the 17th floor to the personalized service during the meetings, I was very impressed. I'd love to say the pool was great, but it was cold in Florida, so lounging by the pool wasn't in the cards - no fault of the Hyatt.
For those who think the Shor restaurant was overpriced, my response is, "You get what you pay for." Shor's food was outstanding, with many unique preparations and a chef happy to indulge foodies' modifications. I've paid far more for far worse. It's a welcome change to find a really great restaurant in the hotel.
My only trivial complaints are that the microwave in room 1717 has a bad turntable bearing and needs to be replaced, and I'd like a bit more signage explaining that guests heading to low numbered rooms must use one elevator and high numbered rooms the other, and if you screw it up, you have to come all the way back down to 8.
From Reservation, to check in, to check out, everything was PERFECT.A true Hyatt experience that must be experienced to be believed.Excellent location within walking distance to Restaurants, Shopping, Attractions and Convenience. Amazing Attentive Management and Staff!!
