How to Get There
Loved the décor and that it wasn't like all the other "Chain" hotels. Wish I could have stayed longer and enjoyed the pool area. Their pool area looked really nice compared to the other "in town" hotels. Beds were comfy and shower was great!
Great location for doing business in the area. Convenient to most locations and the pool / amenities are top notch. Bar, business center and work out facilities on site. Also close to the mall and restaurants if you forget to pack something
My husband and I spent one night at the Renaissance Boca while visiting a friend of his then heading south to tour the Wynwood section of Miami. The friend told us this used to be a Ramada, which helped us understand how the physical aspects of this hotel are NOT what we're used to at Renaissance properties. While the hotel was "renovated," the hallways are dreary, the concierge lounge tiny and the rooms, particularly the bathroom, small. However, the staff, comfort of the bed and decent breakfast in that lounge, coupled with our very reasonable nightly rate of $107, made this a good choice. Everyone, from the men and women at check-in, to the bellman and housekeeping and lounge staffs, were unfailingly welcoming and polite, and made us feel at home. The bed was so comfy I fell asleep early while watching TV. Breakfast featured scrambled eggs, good bacon and sausage, fresh fruit, yogurt and coffee. We did not use the very small fitness center, nor the pool and spa. However, we went on walks to one of several nearby restaurants and to a very nice and huge indoor shopping mall. This is a conveniently located property and for the amount we paid, it was a real bargain. For the reasons mentioned above, we would recommend this hotel and would stay here again.
Want to avoid the high prices and parking issues with places on or near the beaches? Want upscale accommodations with many nearby restaurants? Then the Boca Raton Renaissance is for you. Our weekend stay was wonderful. We almost had the pool to ourselves. I expect weekends are slow as the location caters to the many nearby Corporate office visitors.
The hotel is located close to the highway and near lots of restaurants and the shopping mall. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The room were comfortable and clean. The pool area was well kept with a jacuzzi, resort pool and a bar. The only complaint was the layout for the breakfast buffet. The buffet is located near the entrance to the restaurant which caused a lot of congestion when trying to enter. The staff for the omelet station was not friendly or in any type of hurry to assist guests. Parking is free at the hotel. I would most likely stay here again.
