How to Get There
We commuted by car. Stayed at beach club Sunday thru Thursday
Husband had a work seminar and wife and 3 year old came along. Was worried that high end hotel too fancy for our family. I was so wrong.
Parent tips: leave sand play toys at home they have sailboat sandbox on beach with everything a kid would want. They also sell pool floats toys etc. Leave beach towels at home plenty of nice soft towels at pool and beach.
We brought breakfast items and snacks for our daughter but they provide fresh fruit infused water daily through out common areas so it was perfect drink for Mom and child. Did NOT get condescending looks for bringing own food as we have at other hotels. Or the mountain of luggage we had.
Room great, stayed by front of hotel so not best ocean view but had peek a boo view plus kid loved watching the bridge open and close and vechicle coming and going on six floor so noise wasn’t a problem.
The Staff was amazing and truely make this hotel so worth it. We are not the type to service bell hops valets etc, so I thought it would be uncomfortable experience but I think the staff knows how to read it’s guests and caters to the “hand holding” type ie cant pick up own pool towel and me who runs over gets what we need and heads to pool. Mind u if u head over to dirty towel bin with a towel someone on staff runs over to take it from you. The room service waiters, the Serendipity waiters the bellhop the valets the checkin staff housekeeping pool staff and waiters are amazing. They treat everyone the same if you are thin, overweight, ugly, beautiful, young and old, quiet or loud, wealthy or regular income people the exact same—- wonderfully. Come on you know what I mean you have seen it the beautiful young thin rich people get special treatment lots of places well not here the regular folks get the same treatment 😀 all top notch wonderful accommodating lovely by their incredible staff.
I visited this hotel with my boyfriend for the first time. He has gone several times and his brother goes every year for 2 weeks at a time. I had very high expectations for my trip, but was ultimately disappointed. If you aren’t dressed ostentatiously to show off your wealth, then you are ignored by the staff. When we sat by the pool, we tried to order drinks for almost a whole hour. We sat down in a section there was a waitress for and she kept walking right past us. We tried flagging her down, but she paid no attention. My boyfriend even asked several other staff members if they could have a server come over, but no one ever came. I was beyond annoyed at this point and was over the whole experience. This hotel is nice because of the pool and beach access, but I enjoyed going over to the Boca Raton Resort much better. I honestly don’t think I would ever go back to the beach club. I have enjoyed my time at FB in Miami way more. I’m skipping Boca Raton for good.
This beachside resort has a contemporary flair with impeccable service from the moment you walk in. Great dining options including the breakfast buffet, lunch, and dinner at Sea Grille or sandwiches and shareables at the Beach Bar. There's also a free shuttle over to the main resort, which has more of the classic, old world style yet offers hip hangs like Monkey bar, Morimoto, etc. Close enough to venture to Mizner for lots of shopping and more fab eateries too.
We had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and attentive and anticipated our needs. Both the Beach Club and the Main Resort were beautiful, but it different ways--one modern and one old-world. The catamaran sail was fun as was our time on the beach. Lastly, the food was outstanding!
Great spot for family fun. The staff was very helpful, food service, pool area and beach were top notch. Don’t forget to take the water taxi or shuttle over to the main hotel to experience the mix of historical ambiance and luxury.
