Wonderful stay!

We spent the weekend at The Henderson for our anniversary. It exceeded our expectations! Service was perfection from all staff. It is a beautiful resort. Room was gorgeous! Very clean and spacious! Gym is great with everything you need and more. Very easy walk to beautiful private beach. We had a wonderful dinner at Primrose. Food and service both excellent. The spa is one of the best I’ve been to. So beautiful! Great service! Lovely amenities to enjoy with any spa service like Himalayan salt room, lavender steam room, experiential shower, hot tub and a beautiful relaxion room with snacks. Highly recommend The Henderson and look forward to our next visit.

AMAZING Experience

When I booked my stay here I really hadn't done a lot of research and was just hoping for the best. It was AMAZING and went far beyond our expectations. The resort is beautiful and right on a private beach, directly next to the state park. From our room we had a gorgeous view of the ocean and the state park. It was stunning. The room was so comfortable and even with two queen sized beds there was plenty of space. My sister and I really appreciated the double sinks in the bathroom and the deep tub.

MY sister and I spent some time in the spa while we were there and it was amazing and unlike any spa experience I had ever had. We did the Ultimate Zen treatment and then enjoyed the hot tub, experimental shower and the relaxation room. I could have spent the whole trip in the spa alone.

The restaurants at the resort were great and so convenient. You got a wide variety of options and even an ice cream shop! It was really nice to have a restaurant out at the pool where you could eat, drink and swim in one place.

I really enjoyed having an adults only pool and hot tub area. It was a large pool and a large hot tub with lots of chairs, tables and lounges surrounding them. Servers would bring you food and drink so you didn't have to even go down to the pool side restaurant that was located in the all ages pool area next to the adult pool. The all ages area had a lazy river along with another pool and we spent some time floating in circles around there. The resort even provided flotation devices to use.

Something we really loved and appreciated was the transportation services they offered. They had drivers to take you anywhere you wanted to go with in like 10 or 15 miles. We didn't use an Uber or Lyft the whole time like we had planned because we were able to use this service instead. The drivers would give us their numbers so we could be picked up where ever we were. And the drivers were a wealth of information and gave us great tips on where to eat and what to avoid. This was a major perk for us that we were not expecting. The concierge was also extremely helpful with setting up parasailing appointments or getting reservations.

I have an unending amount of good things to say about The Henderson. The gift shop had great items many of which were made by artisans in the local community. In fact, the whole resort was full of artwork made by locals which I really enjoyed. The staff was incredible and endlessly helpful! I cannot wait to go back next summer!
