Great hotel - good location, friendly staff, nice room
Reviewed 2 days ago

I wanted to stay at old town but not too close to Duval St (too noisy at night).
This hotel is located a few blocks from Duval St and right on Truman Ave. I was worried about the noise from the traffic (to sleep at night) but the windows have a good isolation so little noise was heard.
Free covered parking was great. I left my car in the hotel (as advised) and walked all around old town.
Room has good space, comfy beds, ok bathroom, good AC and a small balcony. WiFi signal was good and internet speed was ok. Free breakfast had cereals, yogurt, fruits, bagels, cake, boiled eggs, juice.
Staff was nice and very helpful.
Definitely a hotel to recommend.

Good location away from Mallory Square; pleasant staff

I arrived by the Key West Express. I booked this hotel, thinking it would be in walking distance from where we docked. It was further than I thought - carrying an overnight bag. FYI- if you take the Express pay for your bag to be sent to your hotel. Available when you dock, it costs around $12, well worth it. This hotel was convenient to the Southernmost Point and Hemingway House and Lighthouse. I would have preferred a hotel a little closer to Mallory and Duval as well.
My balcony room was not what I expected. It was a tiny balcony overlooking a side street/laundromat. It was pretty quiet and comfortable though. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. The morning breakfast was adequate; it was typical of what you find when you have breakfast included in your rate.

Nice clean hotel , great location , staff friendly and very accommodating! Breakfast was basic continental but met our needs just fine . Room was spacious, bathroom awesome . They upgraded us to pool view room (without us asking )for free because it was available and desk clerk said that side is quieter , so that was a nice touch ! Pool area nice and clean but we didn’t not use it d/t ran out of time .

First time in Keys

Nice hotel - everything great except the WIFI connection. Very slow!!!. Now, besides that we enjoyed our stay here. Very good location. Just a few blocks from Duval St. Only other complaint, there are some really bad smells coming in from outside our room 224. Looks like garbage has not been picked up for weeks. Nasty! Room was clean and well kept. Good maid service. Very nice pool area. Secure parking on site. Very good omelet breakfast on Sunday. We enjoyed our stay. Nice place. Thanks!

Clean and quiet

The hotel room is clean and quiet with the attraction of Duval walkable. I am accustomed to hiking 3miles of varying terrain daily so keep that in mind. There is a pool area which is small but seems relaxing and good for catching the sun. Everything in the Keys is $$$ so this hotel seems pricey for what is here.
