How to Get There
This hotel is super clean and the staff is amazing. Here, you will always be greeted by a smile, by everyone! It is contagious. Breakfast is offered in the lobby and is sufficient to start the day. The rooms are large, comfortable, include all necessary amenities, and super clean! The A/C is great and everything worked in the room, which is a challenge in an ocean location! Parking, pool, poolside bar, bicycles, everything you need. The location is close to Duval St, but far enough away to avoid the noise of the area.
Very impressed how large the room was and the space provided. The room was immaculate and the staff was very accommodating. Very happy with the stay, would stay again and recommend. Really like the pool area and the attentiveness of the staff as well.
Marvelous, marvelous experience for our anniversary. Close to everything. Friendly staff. Gave us an upgraded room and surprised us with complimentary shampagn and roses. Quiet & clean. Highly recommend
We couldn't have picked a better place to stay for our family. The location is great. You are far enough away from the craziness that is Duval St. (which we love), but close enough to walk to everything. The furthest walk was about 20 minutes to Mallory square. This hotel has a very warm and inviting staff. They are extremely helpful, polite and all service was always with a smile. I contacted them a couple of times before my trip and they always answered my emails quickly and friendly. The rooms are immaculate and the entire facility is kept very clean. The safes in the room can accommodate a laptop which I found as a plus. They keep the hotel so well maintained that I even saw the employees taking apart fans by the pool and cleaning the blades! The pool is small, but very nicely appointed. Another plus in onsite parking which is so convenient. They have a complementary breakfast in the morning which consists of cereal, fruit, bagels, toast, hard boiled eggs, muffins, pound cake, juice, coffee, tea, & milk. I believe they make omelets on the weekend, but we stayed during the week. I just cannot even think of a negative for this hotel or their staff. My family and I are looking forward to our next stay at the Silver Palms!
Overall, the Silver Palms Inn is excellent The motel is close to the action on hopping Duval however a long walk if trying to get to the other side of town for Sunset Celebration. Don’t be fooled by the entrance which is clean but a bit shabby...The lovely pool area compensates for the lobby with its dramatically lit waterwall at night. Definitely no diving—the pool is mostly for wading—no deeper than 4’5”. The concierge gave us a complementary drink at the mini tiki-bar. The decor of my hotel room only eight years out has a post modern look that is adorable. The hotel was built in 2010, and the layout of the interior is better. Getting inside the room requires a little muscle because of the high security features. My room overlooked the super busy parking lot — the spaces were large enough to accommodate pickups and SUVs. The neighborhood is super interesting, nearby —Tennessee William’s.
