How to Get There
Wonderful trip to Key West with a wonderful waterside suite. Great sunset, in the top 5 we have experienced. This hotel has to be seen to be believed! Four pools, three adults only, superb gardens and gardens. Colonial style with a touch of modern chic.
Below is an email I sent Parrot Key about our stay, I haven’t heard back from them, which show the lack customer service. The pools are clean and I like the adult only area. It’s not enough to stay here again, though. I did get the receipts finally after a second call.
My family of four stayed with you in 39B Sunday September 1-3 then again in the same room on Friday September 6th.
Let me start with, we have always enjoyed our stay with you and have never had any issues. We were there in May this year. Also prior years.
On our arrival we found a bag of white powder/crystal(drugs) substance. Valet came and picked it up. Once in our room we began to notice the room hadn’t been finished being cleaned. A glass with toothpaste, water bottles half full. Bed wasn’t turned down. Bar of soap opened on sink, food in freg. Not enough coffee. Flip flops and other things not in parrot Key bag. I went to front desk and was given the option of moving or the maid coming to take a look. I was told then it had been inspected and marked cleaned. We chose to stay in that room, we had A LOT of camping gear. When the maid arrived we had a language barrier. We communicated through an app on her phone but, still very tough. She said give her 10min. They came and actually the room had never been cleaned, after a person was asked to be moved. They changed the sheets....knowing that, I would have moved to another room. We didn’t get all the things you normally get in a clean room, even after they did the cleaning. The second night the room downstairs was so loud and violent we had to go to the front desk because we couldn’t get a dial tone on the phone. It sounded like they had broken all kinds of things in the room. They called the police.
On our return to the SAME room. Friday September 6th, we went to use a glass and the orange drink we had put in one of the glasses wasn’t cleaned and put back into the cabinet. We also didn’t have the same things on this return. The cookies, stirring spoons and a robe.
I also called today around 12:30 and asked for an email of all my receipts and still have not gotten one.
The place is beautiful. The service from everyone was great. Everything was exceptionally clean. The pools were very relaxing. My husband and son in law enjoyed the jet ski tour. It’s our second time and we will return.
