Duval Street and Mallory Square are where all the action starts on Key West, and this 100-room Ocean Key Resort & Spa, A Noble House Resort overlooks both of them — which means it’s also a prime location for sunset views from some rooms and from every table on Sunset Pier, the more casual, Caribbean inspired restaurant on property. The slightly more formal Hot Tin Roof also serves sunset views alongside the shrimp risotto and broiled snapper, while the Liquid Lounge Pool Bar focuses on burgers and mojitos. Guestrooms have lime green walls, sleigh beds with pillow-topped mattresses, whirlpool baths and private furnished balconies. When guests aren’t taking a dip in the pool, they may be found enjoying a Balinese-inspired treatment in SpaTerre or biking around the Key.
In the Area
Every evening is an excuse for a party in Mallory Square, the beating heart of Key West, where jugglers, street vendors, musicians and animal trainers make for a festive vibe. Fill the hours before sunset with an Old Town Trolley sightseeing tour, a round of golf at the Rees Jones-designed Key West Golf Club, or a guided kayak eco-tour.
How to Get There
Room was very nice, clean and spacious, comfortable beds, very soft pillows (too soft for my liking), and position of 0 duval street made a great spot for everything.. sunset view, Mallory square and ofcourse duval street.. we will return next year. Thank you
First time staying at Ocean key Resort. My room had an amazing view of the ocean.. I loved our location easy to get around. I was also pleased with how accommodating the staff was. Definitely will be back.. highly recommend this hotel
Dated property needs some TLC. My room on Mallory Square was nosy. Restaurant was a good valve, but limited menu. Help friendly. I would have been happier with a lower rate for the time of year. Next time I will try the Pier House which was recommended to me.
Excellent stay. Would stay again, but would have an ocean front room overlooking the pier because of the cruise ship situation. Staff excellent, rooms excellent. Easy to walk to anywhere you want from this location.
The rooms were surprisingly huge for Key West. Very comfortable bed. The balcony is a perfect touch. Our view was partially cruise ship and partially mallory square parking lot but it didn't really matter because you could still see water and palm trees and just sorta take it all in. We really loved the pristine pool and the pool staff was wonderful. I did however have my new expensive hat stolen from the pool while we were there which was very unfortunate.
Greeted with rum punch of the day in the lobby which was a nice touch.
Hotel doors slam pretty loud here and we were woken several times due to that noise, so I would just bring ear plugs next time. Tried to ask for a late checkout since our flight was so late in the day. Was told to call in the morning so we did. We were denied a late checkout so that was kind of annoying. All in all a very nice place to stay!
