H2O Suites is a luxurious base for getting acquainted with the sun, sea and sights of laid-back Key West. You’ll stay in your choice of beachy-chic suites, with one or more balconies or patios, and there’s a rooftop on hand for lounging and taking in incredible island vistas. Relax in your Italian marble spa-inspired bathroom or at the rooftop pool, where you can enjoy complimentary wine and other cocktails, or try one of southern Florida’s signature rum drinks.
Of course, the best way to kick back and have a good time, as well as to experience Key West’s tropical culture, is to step outside and walk around. And you’re in a fabulous location for doing that, too, right off famous Duval Street. Stroll a couple of blocks to see the waves lap against Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, the six-toed cats roam around Hemingway House and the sun set over Mallory Square.
Experience one seriously sweet suite at this hip, modern hotel. In addition to a private balcony or patio, thoughtful touches in yours range from luxury bedding to plush bathrobes and slippers to not one, but two, large flat-screen TVs. Per the promise of H2O, you’ll also land a few complimentary bottles of water – plus a wet bar, natch.Courtyard-view Luxury Second Floor Balcony suites show off a spa-like Italian-marble bath with dual sinks, a glass rainfall shower, a king bed and a separate vanity. Deluxe Luxury suites with a private plunge pool also have a king bed, with Premier Luxury suites adding on a second patio with a swing sofa.
Key West is famous for its sunny weather and quirky characters. A Floridian getaway with a strong Caribbean and Cuban flair, it’s known for Key-lime pie, brilliant sunsets (best appreciated from gathering-spot Mallory Square), pristine and palm-lined sands and six-toed cats. Hemingway spent eight years living here, and you can tour his landmark French Colonial-style home several blocks away, or head south to get your picture taken at the southernmost point in the continental United States. Assorted scuba-diving companies are on hand for day trips and excursions.
How to Get There
I'm horrible at writing reviews...use them ALL the time but rarely write them. I had to write one this time though because the service at the hotel was second to none. The location is perfect. The service was fabulous. The rooms were clean and bathrooms were set up as good as any bathroom we have ever stayed in (I'm a sucker for a sit down makeup vanity). Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel.
At first I wasn't sure about location but on arrival we found that most things are easily within walking distance, no problem at all.
The overall feeling upon arriving at the property is of complete peace and serenity..
This property is for those 25 and older which honestly was something that immediately drew our attention.
The common areas are lush and beautifully done. Our "suite" was perfectly done, comfortable and spotless.
Every evening small frozen dove bars and blueberry muffins were delivered with turn down service.
Cindy at front desk couldn't have been more accommodating or helpful.
From her welcome to her help with dinner reservations and local businesses.
She also helped us in renting a topless Jeep for a little exploring.
Also Chris at the front desk was extremely welcoming and Lydia our housekeeper. This lady could not have been more proud or caring about the hotel. A very sweet lady who made out stay even more personal..
Will definitely return, just not soon enough.
The hubs and I were in Key West last April for my brother-in-law's wedding and I wanted to spend more time here since it was my first visit and we were trekking over from California. The wedding was in a different hotel and I did not want to stay there for the week. The hubs caved and I was able to book the rest of our trip here!
The H2O Suites is amazing! We came over right after we checked out from our other hotel, and while waiting for our room, we were invited to check out the rooftop pool bar (free booze!). The bartender was wonderful to chat with and gave us a bunch of recommendations. I loved that this place is more quiet and not crawling with people all over the pool. The vibe is just more chill and relax and I absolutely enjoyed it. We splurged on the premier rooms (with the pool in the back) and it was totally worth it! I was in that plunge pool at least twice a day, especially at night! The porch swing in the front of the room was great to lounge on too!
The rooms were clean and modern, and I really appreciate the extra space in the drawer fridge so I can stash all my leftovers every night. I love the lighting in the bathroom...perfect for putting on makeup!
I absolutely enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come here if we visit Key West again!
We spent several days in Key West and we could not have stayed in a better hotel. When we arrived we were greeted by Winffild and he could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Winffild was so thorough with the check-in and took his time showing us around the hotel. He suggested places for dinner and even made reservations! The hotel is immaculate, comfortable and quiet. The rooftop pool was clean and such a beautiful setting! When we return to Key West this is the only place We will stay. We look forward to our next visit back!
What can we say about this hotel.... loved everything about it!
After a long drive to key west we had the warmest welcome from Chris and Sean at the front desk, complete with a welcome drink. What a special and lovely touch, very personal and very unusual these days.
Our room exceeded every expectation and the hotel itself is beautiful, so relaxing and tranquil but with a gorgeous pool and in an ideal location. Another lovely touch was the drinks and snacks on offer at the pool. Immediately upon arrival, we felt like this was our home from home.
Sean at the front desk was unbelievably helpful with anything we asked and provided brilliant tips for restaurants and things to do. Everything in key west was within walking distance, including a lovely beach.
This is probably our favourite hotel we have ever stayed in. We sincerely wished we could have stayed longer and we are already planning to come back!
Don't hesitate to book here if you are looking for a truly special place to stay. Thank you to all at h20 suites for an unforgettable stay.
