H2O Suites is a luxurious base for getting acquainted with the sun, sea and sights of laid-back Key West. You’ll stay in your choice of beachy-chic suites, with one or more balconies or patios, and there’s a rooftop on hand for lounging and taking in incredible island vistas. Relax in your Italian marble spa-inspired bathroom or at the rooftop pool, where you can enjoy complimentary wine and other cocktails, or try one of southern Florida’s signature rum drinks.
Of course, the best way to kick back and have a good time, as well as to experience Key West’s tropical culture, is to step outside and walk around. And you’re in a fabulous location for doing that, too, right off famous Duval Street. Stroll a couple of blocks to see the waves lap against Fort Zachary Taylor State Park, the six-toed cats roam around Hemingway House and the sun set over Mallory Square.
Experience one seriously sweet suite at this hip, modern hotel. In addition to a private balcony or patio, thoughtful touches in yours range from luxury bedding to plush bathrobes and slippers to not one, but two, large flat-screen TVs. Per the promise of H2O, you’ll also land a few complimentary bottles of water – plus a wet bar, natch.Courtyard-view Luxury Second Floor Balcony suites show off a spa-like Italian-marble bath with dual sinks, a glass rainfall shower, a king bed and a separate vanity. Deluxe Luxury suites with a private plunge pool also have a king bed, with Premier Luxury suites adding on a second patio with a swing sofa.
Key West is famous for its sunny weather and quirky characters. A Floridian getaway with a strong Caribbean and Cuban flair, it’s known for Key-lime pie, brilliant sunsets (best appreciated from gathering-spot Mallory Square), pristine and palm-lined sands and six-toed cats. Hemingway spent eight years living here, and you can tour his landmark French Colonial-style home several blocks away, or head south to get your picture taken at the southernmost point in the continental United States. Assorted scuba-diving companies are on hand for day trips and excursions.
How to Get There
2nd stay there; the repeat was just as great as the first. Awesomely attentive staff (especially Cindy). Great room with private plunge pool (romantic!). Excellent rooftop pool great for relaxation all day long!. Very convenient to Duval and the beach. It was hard to leave to go back to reality.
My husband and I stayed for 3 nights in March 2019. While spring break raged along Duval Street, inside the walled compound of H2O Suites we enjoyed peace, relaxation, and 5 star service. The Concierges were terrific - we relied on them for planning our entire stay in Key West and each restaurant, tour, and rental recommendation was perfect. The room was well-appointed, clean, and quiet. The bed and pillows were exceptional, the room lighting was excellent, and there was plenty of storage so we didn't have to trip over our own stuff for lack of closets or drawers. The room was very well designed and thought out. The hotel does not nickel and dime for amenities. The nightly rate and resort fee cover everything you need including chairs and umbrellas at the beach should you choose to partake, but the rooftop pool was so beautiful and accessible, why go to a crowded and hot public beach? We loved the location and while slightly off Duval St, you are less than an easily walkable mile from everywhere or a 10 minute scooter ride if you live on the wild side. The lush landscaping fulfilled its responsibility to provide both privacy for the plunge pools as well as create a tropical feel for an architecturally modern building. It's the only place I'll ever stay in Key West.
This hotel was everything I expected and more. The grounds are beautiful and full of lush trees. It's only about 20 suites and I got one with the plunge pool. Rooms are large and the beds are really comfortable. Great location a block away from Duval on the south side which is a bit quieter. Front desk staff was really helpful thanks to Sean, Willfred and Cindy. Romance package was totally worth it and was set up at the right time with delicious chocolate covered strawberries and champagne plus roses everywhere. Thanks for helping make this night even more special for us!
My wife and I visited friends who recently moved to Key West. We stayed at the New H2O Suites Hotel. The rooms have a wonderful decor. Each room has either a balcony or patio with a plunge pool. The grounds are landscaped beautifully. The staff at the front desk is very nice and helpful. Everything you want in the rooms is provided.Beautifully furnished and comfortable. The Hotel is private and high end. If you want to stay away from families with children and enjoy a private hotel this is the place to stay!
Our suite is gorgeous - Spacious living room, beautiful king bed, massive bathroom with 2 sinks, a separate vanity space and a shower big enough for a cocktail party.
Beautiful atrium with a fire pit perfect for a post-dinner cocktail.
The concierge staff are all lovely and remarkably helpful and accommodating. They made terrific recommendations for activities and tours for us, and they will happily book them for you (and there’s even a bit of cost savings if they do it for you).
The rooftop pool is stunning with complimentary cocktails, wine and snacks.
Oh...And no kids. When I’m on vacation away from my kids, I certainly don’t want other people’s kids in the pool.
I can’t recommend this place enough!
