Disappointed

The location was good. Convenient shuttle service takes you wherever you want to go. Nice "sister" property Islander Resort- this was a great place with nice beach area. The Bayside looked lovely on-line but when we arrived to our room there was a huge cockroach/palmetto bug to great us. They moved us to another room which was not thoroughly clean. Later we found a couple large bugs in that room. My main requirement is a clean/bug-free room. Can't sleep otherwise. They gave us a small token credit adjustment on the room. If I ever went back, I may try the Islander Resort but I won't go back to the Bayside townhomes.

The room was great, the shuttle was amazing, the close restaurants were delicious and the sunset was amazing as well! I highly recommend this hotel. If you have guests staying at sister location across the street the shuttle takes you back and fourth plus takes you to all the local restaurants and bars very convenient.

Always a good experience

Islander Bayside is still an oasis (despite being just off of the Highway). Great location, great pool, terrific rooms with lots of space. Also fewer families/kids than the 'regular' oceanside Islander (which is nice). We always enjoy our stays there.

great weekend

We were traveling from Sarasota to Fort Lauderdale by boat and spent the weekend in Islamorada. The Islander Bayside could not accommodate our 39' center console but Margie hooked us up down the street at the nearby marina. the free shuttle to and from restaurants on the island was a plus. the pool was awesome in the evening as well as all ammenities at the resort!!

Great stay at a wonderful location

The townhome was of a great quality. Everything you need and more was in the house. It looked perfectly maintained. The location, in spite of the neaby busy A1, is great. The pool directly at the water of the Bay is also wonderful. A lot of sunbeds, pool is heated and there is also a grill to use for clients.
The view from the pool is lovely. A real nice place to relax. I will come back for sure.
