Perfect location in Helsinki

Excellent choise to stay in Helsinki. Walking distance to city centre but still located in a quiet corner. Parks, shops, restaurants..you have it there.
The hotel is stylish, the service is friendly and the restaurant is super nice. Not to forget the cosy bar in the lobby and the breakfast.

Nice Hotel - Not For Us
Reviewed 2 days ago

We stayed for a few nights and it is a nice hotel but just not for us. There is nothing seriously wrong with this hotel if you are considering it but I wouldn't say it is a boutique hotel. We did like the location - a short walk to everything and our room was spacious and very clean.

What we didn't like was it a bit of a rabbit warren to get to our room and our bathroom was so badly designed. We'd also been spoilt at our last couple of hotels with breakfast, and whilst we aren't big breakfast people this was a disappointment. A very simple selection which is fine but not enough serving areas so it was really cramped trying to get your breakfast. It was very busy each morning and not a pleasant way to start the day.

There is a bar/lounge area off reception that also has a real cramped feel about it when there are quite alot of people checking in. This bar area is also not open all the time during the day which we found quite odd. The reception staff manned it but of course they were too busy and should not be expected to do so.

The staff at all areas of the hotel were lovely and helpful so if you stay you won't have a terrible stay - it just comes down to personal preference.

Super boutique hotel in the heart of Helsinki

This is a great high-end hotel with a great location. Staff are very helpful and rooms are modern, clean and very well appointed.

Breakfasts can get a little frenetic at times though. Highly recommended.

Nice rooms, lobby, limited breakfast

A nice boutique hotel in a perfect location, and very friendly staff. But still room for improvement. No complimentary water in the room (probably the first time we had this since well over 4 years of continuous traveling), and very, very limited breakfast.

Top-notch Hotel
Reviewed 1 week ago

Really enjoyed my two-night stay while on a work trip in Jan 2019.

The hotel is known to cab drivers (which will cost you €40 fixed price from the airport). Expect a 30-45 min journey depending on traffic/weather.

'Lilla' means 'little' in Swedish but this place is far from it and the generous rooms are beautifully decorated in an Art Deco style. Quiet, comfortable and classy this ex-police station will welcome you with a friendly service that goes al long to warm your bones when coming in from braving the elements.

A fine breakfast selection to prepare you for the day and a great location with an easy walk to the centre.

Would highly recommend this lovely place.
