How to Get There
An enjoyable stay in lovely surroundings. Bar and restaurant staff very slow but overall a good stay. Nice rooms but the view from our room was poor. Could be improved with a flower tub to hide the fire hydrant. Room 17
This is a very nice hotel with a lovely pool, and large modern rooms very nicely designed as an extension of the palace. The rooms are lacking in power outlets next to the beds as well as pillows that are too soft but other than that the rooms were great. Our only problem at this hotel was with the slow and indifferent dinner service. We shared our concerns the following morning and hope that management will look into that because it is a shame at an otherwise lovely location.
I've been to this hotel on four previous occasions and have alwasy enjoyed staying there. I just wanted to highlight, the following:-
On a wet morning the terrace was unavailable for breakfast, which resulted in queues for tables in the dining room. Unfortunately, only half of the dining room was available for breakfast, as the other half, had been set for dinner. On this occasion, I would have thought the full dining room should have been available for breakfast, to avoid guests having to queue. The tables could have been reset for dinner, after breakfast service was over.
Having been at the hotel on 4 previous occasions, it would be nice to see some changes being introduced to the menu.
