How to Get There
Excellent resort in a lovely area. Good bar/restaurant with super friendly staff. Decent supermarket and other amenities, the pool was great as was the pool bar. Only downside was my villa compared to my friends - theirs was new, clean and well equipped. Mine was old, badly designed and the kitchen was poor. Definitely ensure you get an upgraded villa!
Myself and my husband have been here twice a year for 3 years now and love it. It came recommended by my husband and my in-laws as he used to come when he was a child , and now we are bringing our own children.
The vilars are well furnished with plenty of room, the pools are lovely
The only downside is the food at the pool bar , it seems to have changed in the last year and the spark has gone as has the good food and varied menu.
We will return again no doubt
We’re a young married couple who normally use AirBnB when travelling abroad but chose this place as we were attending a wedding at the nearby Casa Do Lago.
We stayed in a 2 bedroom standard villa. Place was huge, loads of space for two people and really clean. Patio was nice too but a bit shaded in our villa, plenty of bugs around at night so make sure to lather up in mosquito spray.
Pool area and bar were really nice - three big pools, with comfy beds all around it, but avoid the food at the pool bar.
We didn’t eat at the restaurant on site but we did have drinks which were excellent. Setting is really nice and the staff were lovely.
On site supermarket is really handy, bit more expensive than others in the area but great to have access to it for essentials.
Position in Quinta is good but other restaurants/beach are quite a bit away. You’ll need a car or in our case a bike - which you can rent on site.
We stayed here for a week, the apartment was wonderful. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a lovely kitchen and a patio to have your coffee and/or wine. We travelled from Faro to Lagos on different days to see the beautiful history of Portugal.
The beach that went forever was only 5 minutes away. The weather was 16 to 22C, perfect touring weather. And we did actually go swimming while visiting Benagil Caves.
A car is needed and so are your walking shoes and camera.
The whole sight is quiet and peaceful. The villas are well equipped and maintained. Housekeeping are certainly attentive as ours was cleaned every other day with clean towels, bedding and stocks replenished in the bathroom.
The pool was lovely and very welcome after a days golf.
The supermarket was well stocked and with lots of choice tgat we wanted to make breakfasts.
The golf was fabulous, although extremely costly which is a shame as the greens and fairways are well maintained. It was a treat to plày here on the south course - we all loved it.
The Clubhouse was really good for foid, but like everywhere in this region, it costs.
Will return; saving hard earned cash to make sure its worth it when there.
