How to Get There
I stayed one night while waiting for a flight. The rooms had nice large windows and the bed was very comfortable. Spacious bathroom with a nice tile shower. There is a restaurant on site, airport shuttle runs 24/7 and it is only five minutes to the airport.
After a couple weeks of solid service, we picked this hotel as our home base for a year plus engagement. Last time I was sent to a dirty room with something in the toilet we don’t want to discuss. Then, they locked us out from our late check-out. Then they literally bounced ya off the internet while we were working.
Tonight? I am in the second long check-in line of the night, because they just sent me to a room that is obviously occupied.
Many folks seem interested in doing the right thing, but the follow-through just isn’t there. Which usually means it is a management issue. Westin, please do better!!
Rooms are nice and comfortable and the sleeping quality is very good. My only gripe: $5 for a water bottle that probably costs $0.50 at Costco? That seems a little outrageous to me. The hotel is close to IAD and thus optimal for an overnight stay.
