How to Get There
Stayed just fir the night. Had lovely large room. Enjoyed the more expensive gastro dinner which was lovely. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast selection. And nice to find the hotel busy in a month many are so quiet. Good facilities. Used Spa. Just take your own flip flops and cap if you have them. Both are compulsory and u will have to buy them if u don’t have them.
But enjoyed our stay. Had a great game of golf next morning to finish off a perfect stay
We were lucky that we were given a room at the back of the hotel with a good view and comfortable temperature. Some of the other members of our golf party were at the front and their room was hot and the air con was useless and the staff who looked at it, equally so. There were 2 single beds which were reasonably comfortable and good shower gel and shampoo.
The hotel was located on a decent golf course but there was nothing for the non playing members to do.
Food in the buffet restaurant was, on the whole, lukewarm and they had trouble refilling dishes that had expired. Far from satisfactory.
The pool area was very attractive.
We booked the hotel last minute due to a cancellation. We were offered a golf and spa package for 3 nights at €450 for 2. The hotel on arrival is run down and the reception staff unfriendly. The morning of the golf we were told we couldn't play as needed full handicap certificates. We'd stayed at the celtic Manor (ryders Cup 4* Hotel) earlier that month without the same requirements. Back at the hotel they said we couldn't get a refund it's our fault.
We booked the hotel specifically for this as there were cheaper better hotels in alicante so were rather disappointed, made worse by the hotel reception staff. As for the rest of the hotel, breakfast was always half full, the chefs are lazy but the wait staff good. The supper is terrible and limited for 'buffet' and definitely not worth €22 each. I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you're not playing golf, there is not much else to do in the area and the taxi drivers charge you (€10) for picking you up before you even step into the cab!
We booked a weekend away to play golf and relax at this resort.
On arriving for our first game of golf we were told that without a handicap my girlfriend could not play. We were not aware of this and were told we would get a full refund. We were very disappointed but thought we would make the most of the rest of the weekend. On returning back to the hotel the staff argued that it was our fault and only after proving it was theirs were we given a refund.
The food at the buffet for breakfast was cold all 3 mornings and often ran out. The dinner buffet one night only had 2 meat options and a very sparse and unattractive salad bar. Not worth 23 euros. Bad enough that we payed 50 round trip to go to Alicante city for dinner the next night
If you are playing golf this hotel is convenient but otherwise there are many better options in Alicante and I would highly advise you try them first
After reading many of the positive reviews on this hotel I decided to book it for a romantic break however I was really disappointed with our room we was given there was stains all over the carpet mould all around the bath and the paint was peeling off on our balcony it had seen better day. Maybe we was really unlucky with the room we was given I did complain to reception they said there was nothing they could do and gave me a voucher for 2 welcome drinks ( which I am pretty sure that we should have received anyway) Breakfast was good and there was plenty of sun beds the hotel is pretty secluded with only a couple of restaurants and one shop a ten minute walk away
