On Barcelona’s Paseo de Gracia, steps from the Gaudi masterpiece the Casa Batllo, the Hotel Eurostars BCN Design offers a funky alternative to the area’s more traditional five-star properties. Ideal for couples and individual travelers who love quirky, modern décor, the hotel offers a terrace and Jacuzzi, as well as a small restaurant.
In the Area
The Paseo de Gracia is the jewel of Barcelona’s upmarket avenues and is laden with architectural masterpieces by Gaudi, luxe international shops and immersive outdoor cafes. The hotel is also well situated for metro trips to sites like the Miro and Picasso museums.
How to Get There
Service at the hotel is excellent. Front desk employees were very good. Fast check in and breakfast is good. Selections were limited like hamon and breads. Also a selection of diff egg dishes but really good. Best to eat around the city though. Location is perfect and you can walk to ramblas , gothic area and plaza catalunya easily. El nacional is across hotel with good selections to eat. Many shops around area and very easy to get public transportation. Overall I would definitely go back soon
I was there for a day and a half from a very long flight
I wasn’t too happy with the stay
We didn’t get adapters to charge our phones through out , nobody at the reception helped us with that
Had to struggle with that
Somehow managed to charge our phones
Other than that it was just okay
Only stayed here for one night in transit before getting on a cruise ship but wished it had been longer. The room was amazing with an enormous and super comfortable bed. Big beds are hard to find in Europe so I was super impressed.
We chose this hotel for its location but unfortunately our travel was really late so we couldn’t take advantage of this too much but it was very handy to the things we needed in the morning (laundromat, car hire return etc) plus a lot of great tourist sites. Despite being on the Passeig de Gràcia, which was super handy, it was very quiet and the blackout blinds were great.
The staff we encountered were extremely pleasant and helpful and assisted us with quite a few requests. I noted that the guy who was calling us a taxi responded to a request for assistance from some (quite rude) tourists who were just walking by on the street and not from hotel and did so pleasantly and helped them out.
