Value for money

A while since we stayed here but thought it was good value, staff very friendly and helpful, food you can always find something nice to eat. Good room size with great sea views, the only down point is the hike down to the beach, we were lazy and waited for the complimentary bus. A good break

Amazing hotel amazing views

We stayed for a week during the all saints half term, myself and 2 sons aged 13 and 15. This is the first time we have stayed in a Riu hotel, have heard it is one of their best and we were not disappointed. We had a large room for three with a twin bed ( two big singles pushed together) and a large sofa bed that our elder son slept on. Room was a good size for the 3 of us with a nice balcony and view of the sea ( we were in room 145 so it was not the great view over the beach that you get from the restaurant and the rooms the other side)
The food was very good and much better in quality than the Riu Gran Canaria where we had to stay the first night as our room in the Vistamar was double booked. Eating in the main restaurant was not too noisy as they had sound absorbers underneath all the seats. The best was eating on the fabulous terrace which we used for our breakfast and dinner. It was quite large so you could still get a table until about seven fifteen pm or after about eight fifteen pm. There are two outdoor pools plus a kids pool. As the hotel is built on a cliff the pools are at different levels but you can get a lift to level eight for main reception and restaurant and then level nine for the sports bar and then stairs to the first pool and another set of stairs to the second pool.

The animation team were great and organised volleyball twice a day plus silly pool games darts bingo etc for older teenagers and adults. There was also a mini club for the under twelves.

I would really recommend this hotel and the boys want to come back again and take my wife as well next time. I would definitely recommend for the great views, good food and facilities. It was only renovated two years ago. If you have mobility problems it is probably not the ideal place but there were a couple of people with wheel chairs and an extra lift for use of disabled people to get to the first pool and pool restaurant.

We had a fantastic relaxing two week break in the Sun

The location is cliff top with a free bus service available down hill to a stunning beach and costal walks.

This was our first experience at an all inclusive hotel and we were very impressed with the excellent service, quality and choices of food and dining area options.

All the staff from the very important cleaners, waiting staff and reception personnel were all fantastic and very attentive and friendly.

Our room was modern, spacious and immaculate with breathtaking sea views from the balcony.

A special mention to the Riufit team who made the adult activity programmes fun, especially Hope who was really motivational and good fun.

My husband wants to acknowledge Pepe in the Seabreeze bar who does a Canarian whistle and is fun to be around!

The only negatives were the lack of choices in draft beer and no outside entertainment maybe around the pool areas during the evening.
