How to Get There
The hotel is superb. In entire hotel the quality is very important. We had an excellent see view suit, and it was phenomenal. Kids were sleeping g on very comfortable sofa bed, rooms was very clean , nice and specious.
Food was really nice. We spend with joy and comfort entire long weekend.
They have heated swimming pool indoor and outdoor , on the beach a lot of free sun beds.
The service nice, polite, helpful.
Venice is just half an your by train and half an noir by water taxi. Just excellent connection.
And the breakfast was jus phenomenal!
We will come back :))
From start to finish, the experience was exceptional.
The check-in was a smooth as you could possibly make it and then, personally shown to the room and the amenities that this stunning hotel had to offer.
Our room was nothing short of stunning and the sea views just lifted the experience to another level! If you get the chance to stay here, make sure you get a room with a sea view - it is so worth it!
The rooms are absolutely spotless and maintained twice a day so nothing is overlooked. So rest assured, your comfort is well looked after.
Have to say, the breakfast was one of the best I’ve experienced and service was second to none.
Service throughout was faultless in my experience with this hotel. If you want to go down to the beach, you can slip on your complimentary Almar Flip-flops, strolled along the boardwalk where someone will hand you a towel, make your way to the private beach, select a lounger or two then take a swim in the sea. If you don’t fancy the sea then there’s the excellent indoor/outdoor pools on offer.
The Well-being centre at the hotel is probably the best I’ve ever seen. The facilities are just exceptional and all included in your stay, which I found unusual from other places I’ve stayed. These facilities are a must to use if you’re lucky enough to stay in this hotel!
The parking facilities were excellent, although I did feel a bit “under-dressed” parking the hired Citroen C1 amongst the various prestige cars that were about (soon forgot about that when I enjoyed the room and facilities that this stunning hotel had to offer.
In short, I cannot rate this hotel high enough. Would stay again in an instant and wish I was still there.
I stayed @ the Almar for a week in late October. I chose the Deluxe sea view room. I was amazed by the view indeed and was lucky to be able to chill out on the terrace: it was sunny and warm and just perfect.
Upon arrival, I was given a grand tour of the facilities. I checked in a little early but the front desk manager (who speaks perfect French) pulled some strings so that I might be given the key card within 30 minutes.
The room is big, spotless, all materials are top notch quality, there is a huge smart TV (please note that it is a tad complex to connect the laptop to it but it does work in the end). There was a lovely welcome tray with fruits and prosecco awaiting me on the bed! :o)
The staff (everybody!) pays utmost attention to your needs and well-being: whether it'd be the lovely lady who comes in the evening to ask if everything is OK,
or the barmen,
or the guy in charge of valet parking
(yes, there is an underground garage with lifts to take you straight to your room - but as soon as you get there somebody takes it over!)
or the waiters at the restaurant, you will never be let down in any way.
Speaking of the restaurant, I went half-board but never expected i would be eating out (or rather in) every night. The menu was amazing (not the usual eat as much as you can stuff) - we're talking a real refined restaurant serving scrumptious food and with a more than decent wine-list. I really appreciated the waiters' advice and the chef's willingness to change the dishes and accept my suggestions (you see, you could choose from 3 or 4 different dishes so staying a week I had quickly tasted everything).
Needless to say that the breakfast (almost brunch as it is served till 11!) was no disappointment: a huge selection of everything you could possibly think of: usual breakfast things but also meat, fish, prosecco, raw/cooked...
The Spa area is huge too with the sensorial showers I've already experienced elsewhere (essential oils + lights = pure bliss) - plenty of QUIET relaxing spaces (oh, yes, I forgot to stay how FANTASTIC it is to be in nearly kid-free place -if there were kids they must have been weel educated!).
About the spa and the pools, I was disappointed (that will be my only negative comment - however one which might deter me from returning - the water is way too cold: both inside and outside.
It is such a shame to have superb equipment and not to be able to reach an acceptable temperature at least inside!
I might be biased as I stay at least twice a year in Abano Terme (where thermal water is possibly the same as our body's or more) ....
If you are not too sensitive to the cold when you go to a swimming pool, just book a deluxe seaview and say bonjour @ Monica Bonamassa (Front office manager) for me!
We stayed here in the „luxury „ loft suite with Jacuzzi. Not only did the Jacuzzi not work without intervention of the maintenance crew, but the water leaked out all over the floor and into the bedroom. They cleaned the tile floor but left the carpet soaking wet for the remainder of our stay. They refused to give us another room. They promised to compensate with a couple free nights in the cheapest room, but then refused to respond to multiple queries. When I did talk to them, they insisted that it worked perfectly.
This hotel is a scam. The service level was so bad. Fake promises every time you connect. Don’t waste your money.
Stayed here for a long weekend with my husband and 17 year old son. Beautiful hotel, with amazing contemporary clean design throughout. You will not be disappointed.
Lovely large pool , indoor and outdoor. Close to the beach also. Restaurant was lovely with buffet or menu. Pool bar also with great food and snacks
Staff are very warm and friendly, with a good skill of English, which was helpful.
For those of you who like to work out, the hotel also has a gym, not huge but good enough for a workout.
Parking also underground , if you are driving to this hotel.
We took a drive to the port, which was about half an hour and caught the boat over to Venice.
Lovely hotel and will definitely go back.
