Situated on Italy’s glamorous Adriatic Coast is the five-star Almar Jesolo Resort & Spa. This luxurious spa retreat offers picturesque views and a chance to unwind in a peaceful setting. A palm-tree-studded promenade makes for a lovely landscaped communal area, and a golden, private beach offers ample opportunities for long, romantic walks. It’s difficult to improve on such perfection – especially when you’re in such close proximity to Venice.
This elegant property exudes confidence through its simple décor and captures the essence of its Venetian Riviera setting through sophisticated rooms. You can tone up in the modern gym, have a swim in the sleek pools, and while an afternoon away at the heavenly spa. In the evening, pep yourself up with a cocktail and apéritif from the hotel lounge bar, and at the end of the night, your modern abode (with your choice of views) makes for an ideal crash pad after a day of lazing about.
How to Get There
I can't really say anything bad about this hotel. The staff are so friendly and helpful, Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms (I booked a superior with front sea view) are roomy, modern and spotless. There is a bed turn down service every evening (how quaint). The pool is stunning. Outside pool is large and spotless. The inside pool is like stepping into a bath. Luxurious sun beds. Padded indoors and the outdoor ones have a little sunshade. You just collect clean towels and then deposit them into the towel baskets when finished. The choice and quality of breakfast is first class. We ordered fresh orange, freshly made omelettes and pancakes in the morning. There is truly something for all tastes and dietary requirements. We were half board. The only criticism is the complicated menu. I ordered a starter called colours of autumn. I had no idea what I was getting and it was not to my personal taste but an small description under the menu items would help. It was lovely to see the more seasoned waiters mentoring younger(new starter) waiters. It was done discreetly and with care and support. Direct access to the beach. In a great location for exploring. What is not to like. I very rarely go back and re-visit destinations but I think I could be persuaded to stay here again. Thank you to all the staff from managers to waiters, cleaners, reception staff, maintenance. I almost forgot you can borrow well maintained sturdy bikes to explore the very flat and accessible areas round about. The weather was beautiful. We were lucky to visit at this time of the year. If you want shops, shops and more shops don't go off season. Most of the shops were closed but it didn't bother us. Take a trip to Venice which is very doable.
Fabulous hotel, great rooms, very modern.
Staff ok but not overly friendly.
Good location just a short walk to shops, restaurants and bars.
Right on the beach.
Plenty of towels and sun beds.
Drinks were expensive and food was ok.
Breakfast was good with a nice selection of fresh items.
Rooms clean and maid service good.
We had a balcony and sea view which was amazing.
Travelled with Jet2.com as a package, great price including baggage, transfers and breakfast.
Visited the designer shopping mall which was fantastic.
Easy to get to on a bus, as is Venice.
We ate some amazing food and drank some fantastic Aperol spritz in the many good quality restaurants.
The ice cream in the many gelato shops is well worth a try.
Overall a really lovely place.
Staff are excellent and the rooms are very clean, good breakfast - the evening meals are not cheap - best to go local bars and restaurants - over a 1000 hotels in Jesolo. Its worth travel to Venice on the number 5 bus from the bus station to pick-to the boat to Venice.
We had a ticket to go around 11 museums in Venice which is valued for 6 months - not true - its only valued for some museums and you can only visit them once !!
