Perfect Honeymoon Destination

We had wonderful stay at the Secret Suites. Breakfast was brought to us everyday to our terrace, which had beyond beautiful views.
We also made use of the spa offering and had massages, which were absolutely amazing. I would say we were very well looked after throughout our stay, and all the staff were friendliest and most attentive of any hotel I’ve ever experienced. We received complimentary welcome drinks and had the most relaxing break.

Amazing

Luxury Honeymoon

We stayed at Secrets in mid-October on the recommendation of another couple.
We were not disappointed!
Upon arrival we were given a welcome drink, tour, bottle and fruit plate.
The room was clean and modern (room #1).
Our private pool was heated (a must!!) and the view was breathtaking.
Night 1 we ate on site at Black Rock. The food was wonderful and creative. My husband really wanted duck, which was on the menu in our room but not on the resto menu as it was end of season, and the chef made an exception and made him some. It was so nice of them.
The hotel manager, Manos, is so wonderful. He really knows how to host and make you feel at home. He is fun, attentive and an all around great host! Follow his food and restaurant recommendations - he’s well versed in Santorini’s culinary scene.
The main pool is also heated and a great place to spend the day (with the bar right there). The ‘Santorini Secret’ drink is delicious - order it!
The spa is tiny but comfortable, clean and quiet. We had two massages - very relaxing.
We were worried about the weather in mid- Oct but it was actually really nice and really warm. Mid-20s c and sunny every single day except 1.
The only things to note are that some of the rooms (we had one with a private pool) are visible from Santorini’s pedestrian walkway. It didn’t bother me but my husband didn’t like that other tourists were taking pictures and could see us while we were in our pool. Secrets does try to mitigate this with little awnings. And finally, the prices - it is extremely pricy (every cocktail is around $20 euro) but that is expected given the caliber of the hotel and the level of service. Just be prepared to spend!
Overall 4.5/5 - given the privacy situation
