A Wonderful Experience, Exceeded All Expectations!
Reviewed 9 hours ago

There are many hotel choices in Santorini, and I spent a lot of time on TripAdvisor, Expedia, and other sites to find the best choice for us to spend 4 nights in early October. I can’t think of enough superlatives to describe the experience we had at the Santorini Princess. This trip has long been on my bucket list, and I wanted it to be a luxurious experience of a lifetime. Wish granted. I have spent my career in customer service industries, and I will echo many other reviewers in saying that the staff at the SP is exceptional. Georgia is simply Amazing! We will definitely return to the Santorini Princess!

Here are a few bits of information that may be helpful to other readers:
The SP is actually located just outside of Imerovigli, on the walking trail toward Oia. From the hotel, Imerovigli is about a 15 minute walk (uphill) toward Fira. There is a mini-market in Imerovigli that sells snacks, wine and beer. The hotel shuttle will take you there for free. There is a charge of between €10 – 25 for shuttle transport to other locations. We used the hotel shuttle for airport transfers, which was very convenient. The location is perfect if you want a peaceful setting without the crowds in Fira or Oia.
Walking the trail to Oia from the hotel takes between an hour to an hour and a half. There are some steep pitches and uneven footing along the trail. Best to do this in the morning, before it gets too hot.
The walking trail also goes in the opposite direction, to Imerovigli, then on the Firostefani and Fira (about 45 minutes). Lots of stairs, and crowded with people as you get into Fira. Watch for when cruise ships are in port.
There is a bus stop near the hotel. The fare is around €2 to go to either Oia or Fira. About every 20 minutes.
The hotel is situated so that you can see the back side of the island from behind the restaurant. We went there to watch the sunrise and happily discovered a secret – the sunrise is as beautiful as the sunsets!
We ate at the restaurant several times (in addition to the fabulous breakfast buffet), and were always thrilled with our food and service. Our favorite was the starter plate Gyro. Yum!
An example of great service - We had a late afternoon flight departure, but check-out was at 11:30 am. They stored our bags and encouraged us to stay, without charge, and use the pool, showers and other facilities before we left. We were able to enjoy a full last day, even after we had checked out! Love this place…

I have never been treated like royalty before. The staff were amazing

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left- we were made so very welcome. The staff: Romina, Georgia and Vicky were outstanding. The breakfast, pool and drinks by the pool was just so good. Georgia seemed to be working 24/7 - she recommended restaurants, trips etc; and they all turned out fantastic. We paid a little bit more as we had the honeymoon suite (the only one with the Jacuzzi). We were welcomed with glasses of wine and on leaving Georgia came running to our taxi to hand us a souvenir!! We had a fantastic time and recommend this hotel HIGHLY

Wow. I really dont know where to start. What an incredible experience at this boutique hotel. I read through many of the reviews posted here and thought, goodness...they summed up my/ our thoughts exactly! What makes this hotel so special is it’s staff. They are all 5 star people. I could list the names of every single person but I would risk forgetting some. They are SO dedicated! They work EVERY SINGLE DAY. They have a smile on their face, they are cheery, they are attentive....not sure how they do it from March-November. I felt like I was with family-literally hugged each one that I saw before we left and had tears in my eyes. It is a beautiful, immaculate hotel. Food was great, rooms beautiful (we had the honeymoon suite. Yes, after 30 years we are still honeymooners!) the view—insanely gorgeous. The only downside is that it is not close to Fira or Oia. They provided transportation (and nothing in Santorini is cheap!) but we found it the best thing to do as those drivers are nutty! The manager of the property was on site and we had an opportunity to tell him about our experience. My hope is that every member returns when we come back! I’m a bit worried that all of these glowing reports will cause them to be booked when we plan our next visit 😘
To the staff- we love and adore you all!!! Thank you for the trip of a life time!
Fondly,
Chris and Eddie

We loved the Santorini Princess! I can't imagine a more perfect experience! The location is superb between Fira & Oia, right on the walking trail. The views are amazing! And I have the highest praise for the staff!! Georgia was right by our side at every turn to accommodate every need, answer every question and make us feel comfortable and valued. Also, the members of the restaurant staff (Dimitrius, Giannis, Sofia, and Nadia) were one step ahead of anything we might have needed or wanted! From the first moments of them arranging to transport us from the port, to making dinner reservations, booking us into a Winery Tour, and arranging rides to Fira, Oia & back to the airport, everything was perfection! I highly recommend the Santorini Princess. You will not be disappointed!

Honeymoon paradise

We stayed here for our honeymoon and although we knew the hotel was going to be lovely based on previous reviews, the hotel surpassed ALL expectations! Yes the hotel is spotless, views incredible and location perfect, it was the staff that made the hotel exceptional. Without exception, every staff member was wonderful, couldn’t be more helpful and had already answered all our questions before we’d asked them! The staff really do want you to have the most amazing time and we definitely did. The manager made our honeymoon extra special and we will never forget our holiday. Georgia was a fantastic host and her recommendations for dinner and activities were spot on! We could tell the staff loved working here as much as we loved staying there, if only trip advisor allowed ten star reviews!
