Overview

A relaxing stay among the picturesque, whitewashed houses of Lindos, an hour south of Rhodes' old town

The Lowdown

Modern design at its best, this boutique bolthole minutes from the Aegean Sea has enough glossy aesthetics to clinch the deal for style-seekers. The location is truly gorgeous; in the picture-perfect village of Lindos that’s all car-free cobbled streets, whitewashed houses, cosy little restaurants, and a rather famous acropolis set on a hillside over 100 metres high.
Following a recent refurb, all of the 21 modern guest rooms assure ultra-chic décor; think lashings of whites and creams, beamed ceilings, and statement-making artworks. Sunny days can be spent sipping ice-cold cocktails on the Sky Bar Terrace, hitting the golden sands at the nearby beach, and taking fun donkey rides in the lovely town. Best of all, you’ll be just an hour’s drive from the island capital of Rhodes Town where historic highlights include the Palace of the Grand Master (also known as the Kastello) and the fabulous Street of the Knights.

It is just like the pictures, amazing bed, we've been travelling for close to 5 weeks and out of all of Greece this has been the most comfortable, enjoyable and relaxing stay! So close to beaches, resturants and night life. Highly recommend!

We visited lindos early June and selected lindos comfy primarily due to its location! Aside from the amazing views - the service and facilities available to us were beyond exceptional! Eleni at reception was very helpful and gave directions and suggestions regarding places to eat, best beaches, bars etc! Couldnt be happier with our stay! Totally recommend it!

Amazing holiday, Lindos is beautiful, Comfy Suites is fantastic!

This was just the perfect holiday for my partner and I. It was his first visit to Greece and he fell in love with Rhodes, as I did. Lindos in particular, was such a lovely place to stay. Comfy Suites was the perfect hotel, the staff could not do enough for you, so friendly and welcoming. The Sky Bar was great to have a drink in the evening and take in the breathtaking views, especially looking over at the Acropolis. Yiannis, who served us our drinks was so helpful and friendly. We stayed in Room 15, a double room with a nespresso machine (we took our own coffee pods), fridge, TV, air con and safe. The maid came in every day to clean, and the owners were very helpful when asking about where to go and what to see and do. We could use the pool at Lindos View (just over the road from Comfy Suites). There is a supermarket a few minutes walk from the hotel where you can get water, etc.

The walk into Lindos takes around 5 minutes or so and can be a little slippery on the pebbles. Once you are there it is a lovely bustly little place, with lots of shops, restaurants and cocktail bars. We went to Delight restuarant a couple of days for lunch and they were so so friendly and gorgeous food! I would also recommend Alex's, really beautiful food and helpful staff. We ate there three times as it was such a lovely atmosphere!

As far as things to see and do here, you would never get bored. We just wanted a go with the flow kind of holiday and it can be whatever you want it to be. If you want quiet, you can do it, if you want to go to a bar until 2am, you can do it. It's not a noisy place. We hired a car for 4 days from George rentals, they deliver and pick up your car which saves the stress of finding the car hire place. Be aware though, when we paid a deposit online they told us we could pay the balance by card when the car was delivered but when the man arrived, he said he couldn't because he didn't have signal. Not the end of the world, but a little warning would have been nice (and there is a cash point up the road by the supermarket) as well as bus stops.

We visited St Paul's Bay which is just round the corner from Comfy Suites and it is a beautiful bay with a chapel. We saw two weddings whilst we were there. You can hire two beds and a parasol for 15 euros. It does get busy so good to get there early.
We climbed the Acropolis which was amazing! It gets busy and it's hot so would advise to do this early in the morning. It's 12 euros each and well worth it. The views once you reach the top are amazing. They have donkey rides up to the top (for a charge, not sure how much) and down again.

We also visited Rhodes itself, new and old town. There are many touristy shops and restuarants. We visited the Palace which we would recommend at 12euros each. There are some free car parks if travelling by car but get there early. We found parking 1.50euro an hour.

The Church of Panagia (in Lindos) is a must, you must dress respectfully however they do provide wraps to cover up. Free admission and lots to read about. Well worth it.

Overall, we absoutely adored Lindos and Comfy Suites and we will definitely be back, it's just a case of when.
