And relax ....

Just back from a weeks holiday and feel like all my senses have been soothed.

This is a blissful hotel with a stunning view from all areas of the hotel and your room. There is an air of calmness and quiet in all areas.

Food was superb at breakfast and in the other restaurants.
The double rooms have proper superking beds none of the 2 singles pushed together as in other hotels.

I joined a yoga class on a balcony with Marie which was excellent and perfectly suited to all levels.
The gym was very well equipped again with a superb view - the only downside was that the aircon wasn’t great in there. (I like to use the gym when it gets too hot for me outside).

The main pool is big enough to do laps and you won’t find any kids splashing and screaming. There’s no scramble for sun beds and plenty of them available at all times in all areas.
We visited the beach which is shingle rather than sand. The sea was calm for the whole week we were there and if you enjoy swimming in the sea this is an excellent place to do it.

The staff are friendly, efficient and excellent at what they do. We enjoyed the gifts from the hotel at different times of the day and small cooling refreshments around the pool.
The bar staff are knowledgeable and professional.

A friend who has visited this hotel often recommended it and I think we too will be back.

Simply the best!!

Over the years I have stayed in many hotels all over the world but I have to say the staff of this hotel and the service they provide is amongst the best I have ever experienced. The rooms are excellent, all having great views of the bay at different levels. A series of lifts take you down to a private beach where there are plenty of sun beds available and the Beach Boys bring you iced water and ,if you need, drinks and snacks. The hotel facilities are superb, indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, a gym, two restaurants, but what gives the place the edge is the staff. From reception, through bar staff, wait staff, cleaners, beach boys even to local maintenance men, they are so professional, happy and well trained, never failing to offer service with a smile. They are all a true credit to the owners!!
My only suggestion for improvement would be a shuttle to Lindos. There are buses and taxis but I would not recommend walking as the road has no pavements and is very busy.

Wonderful hotel that deserves its top rating

This truly is an exception hotel in every sense, perfect location, architectural masterpiece to maximise the views from every part of the hotel. Great team of staff, who all talk about being treated by the owners as part of a big family and that's how it comes through as a guest, creating a wonderful relaxed ambience with excellent service. Allow yourself time to indulge in the Spa treatments.

Another excellent stay

Our second visit and this time friends came too on our recommendation. We never return to a place but this was an exception & we certainly weren’t disappointed; as it’s very early season everywhere is very fresh & bedrooms have had a nice makeover since our last visit 2 years ago.
Every member of staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome & the service is second to none in all areas.
You will not be disappointed by the choice & standard of food at breakfast & dinner; there is such a wide choice of beautifully presented food. You will never tire of the stunning view from every area of the hotel.

The best hotel on Rhodes, no contest.

We've just returned from a 7-night stay at Lindos Blu and can't recommend the hotel highly enough. We booked last-minute after a bereavement, as we desperately needed a break and a pick-me-up. Lindos Blu certainly delivered that.

To begin with, the hotel has a stunning setting, built into the hillside and looking out straight across Vilcha Bay. It's chic and modern and impossibly clean.

I imagine every room is beautiful but we were fortunate to be allocated Room 551, right at the top of the hotel (with all the rooms below) so it was private and had the most amazing view, from the bed. It is not uncommon for me to request a room change on arrival at hotels (even when I've paid for the best some hotels still give you a poor room). Here, I actually hugged Eleni Seni as she showed us round our beautiful room! Category was Double Deluxe with whirlpool on the balcony - the biggest balcony of all categories, which is why we chose it. Truly the room was perfect, chair and table plus two loungers plus jacuzzi all fitted onto the balcony and it was entirely private.

Big bed - you wake up with the sea in front of you. Coffee machine that actually works. Walk in dressing room/wardrobes area with a door you shut so you can hide your luggage (I hate luggage in a room!), separate loo, separate shower, double sink bathroom with fancy lights AND a bath - with twinkly star lights above it and doors leading out to the hot tub.

Nice room gift on arrival.

So the whole hotel design is perfect but what really made our stay was the staff. I'd like to thank in order of appearance:

Eleni Seni Rooms Division Manager and her exceptional and charming reception team inc Katerina and Sofia and the young gentelman. Always smiling, always helpful, we followed all their recommendations. Eleni is an absolute asset to the hotel with real presence and knowledge.

Bar: fab hotel bar with amazing view, right at the top of the hotel. We want to especially thank new waitress Evi who was beautiful and charming and whom we saw nearly every night. Plus Bartender and cocktail mixer, Vangelis. My husband is super-critical about his Vodka Martinis and only Vangelis has made him a perfect one on a par with Dukes Hotel London. Well-done Vangelis, he is still dreaming of your Vespa! Thank you both.

The two restaurants: breakfast in Smeraldo, the main restaurant, as others have said, extensive, excellent, all super-fresh, creative and featuring all sorts of local specialities like the yogourt and honey etc etc. One of the best breakfasts we've experienced. In the evening there is a buffet with soup/main course. Normally, we are not buffet people but this one was again excellent and worked really well.

The Five Senses restaurant (the 'posh' one) was outstanding. Superb menu, perfectly executed, please tell the Chef. As we say in UK: A-MA-ZING! We ate here twice.

All staff in each restaurant were incredible, I'm sorry I cannot possibly name all but to mention those we interacted with more in no particular order: Theo the F&B Manager, super-professional and excellent, helpful and amusing, thank you; Anastasia's smile lit up the room every single morning; the young lady with henna red hair also extremely helpful and polite; Irini one of the service managers was charming and so helpful. I should not have favourites so forgive me for this but you have two stand-out members of staff and I do need to mention them. Firstly, Ines Caika from Latvia: Ines is exceptional. She is not only beautiful and smart and funny but she is absolutely driven by a desire to please the hotel's guests, including us. I have to say she totally made our stay, I was super-impressed with Ines and I think you need to make sure you hold on to her. She has the qualities to work at the world's finest hotels. Thank you very, very much Ines for your care and attention to detail and for bringing me coffee super quick (a joke between us). In addition, one person who literally made our stay, is Kostas Kourklidis, Service Manager. I have never seen anyone with such attention to detail, to getting it right for the customer, striving always for perfection, even with the weather. He was omnipresent, seemingly in both restaurants at the same time and everywhere else in between. Little touches like observing from somewhere behind me that I had no knife, and subtly slipping one onto the table without a word....Really, in all your staff you have exception but when so much revolves around the restaurants, you have absolute perfection in Ines and Kostas, in their own unique ways - thank you both very much, you made our stay and I am sorry I was too upset to say goodbye to you properly. (I cry when I leave a really special hotel.).

The Spa: managed expertly by Kostas Protopapas - what a great guy, we really enjoyed meeting you and the massages were excellent.

Room Service: we dined in our room one night and Manolis was excellent - all those stairs he had to keep climbing! Thank you!

Housekeeping: our chambermaid was delightful and very efficient - thank you!

As we went early May, the hotel had only just opened for the season and the weather was a bit mixed, so we did not try the beach but we did visit it: the hotel has the best location on this wide beach shared with other hotels. Nor did we swim in the pool - we enjoyed our private balcony and hot tub too much!

I've probably missed things out but this is too long already. Suffice to say we would like to return, THANK YOU LINDOS BLU! (Blonde lady with good-looking dark haired husband!)
